A main thing is that its still robotic, like you hit it past the dude. Now lets say your 5-5 and on, you can hit an uppercut back hand bouncing the ball on your racquet as easily as federer can hit it by you by not doing anying fancy. The training was self defeatist, so they just have king of players, like what? Agassi is the best ever?

Hey...I have a real problem. I have a Logitech Prescision Gamepad with me. When I want to play 2 players....one controled by the keyboard and one controlled by the gamepad, I can't choose the second player using the gamepad. It says press button 9 to choose player...and nothing happens once I press it...so, I'm forced to play single player..someone please help me...

The only thing I like about the Virtua tennis series is the Licences. The Gameplay looks crap and feels worse, it simulates arcade style, way to fast..the physics is all wrong. Federer is meant to be graceful and fluid..the developers of this game make him look like a club player. Although far from perfect I think gamplay/physics wise Smash court tennis series was better. If you like novelty...thn this might be for you.

Man virtual tennis 2009 is SOO real looking...the players look like real life...but its too arcad-ey for me. I wished they would have a game a quality as good as Virtual Tennis 2009 but the same awesome realistic controls and gamplay of grand slam tennis, and it'd be the ultimate best tennis game ever.

look how big the ball is! wtf. crappy game, the only good thing about it is the animations of the strokes/serves are realistic for every player, unlike topspin, where murray and nalbandian and ancic and even every computer generated player has the same serve. I think the perfect tennis game was topspin1, all they had to do was reduce the pace of the risk shot and add new stroke types/ options but instead they screwed it up and changed it completely for TS2, and they changed it again for TS3.

true grass tests you a lot more..playing on hard just doesnt help you improve on shotmaking as much as it does on grass

In singles, I only play grass courts because the ball bounces low so people don't get their usual power shot like they do on e.g. clay.

The grass court really tests your true skill making you work really hard to win the match.

In doubles, the surface doesn't matter because you have a partner to help you if you miss a shot.

people think they're better than you if they win. i'm like give me a ONE rematch in singles on grass OR any surface in doubles then we'll see who's actually better.

My CPU is a Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz, I have 2GB Ram Kingmax DDR2, and a GPU GeForce 9600 GT Overclocked edition, and the game runs on maximum settings (like in this movie) with 75 Frames per second, so if you have a 8600GT/HD3650 GPU and a dual-core CPU (and at least 1.5GB ram) don't worry, you will be able to enjoy VT 09 on maximum settings
