@azis1100 i apologize for the mean responses, I do understand our rights, and a right to assembly is important, however permission must be acquired before public assembly so that an appropriate meeting time and area can be given so noone is injured or unknowingly breaks federal law. It is mainly safety, in this case, an unruly crowd had gathered at an intersection which may block emergency vehicles and disrupt other persons commutes. I do see where you are coming from.

@simpy17325 In all seriousness I have to agree, I think that the way police in general are portrayed is a little one sided given the fact that they are people just like the rest of us, they run both ends of the morality and awareness spectrum. Police are forced to deal with some of the worst people in society as well as the most stressful, tense situations imaginable, so to judge them in such a one sided manner is horrifically unfair.
