Interesting. It reminds me of the sewing contest on the Fashion Fantasy Game. I heard that the prize is a Singer Sewing Machine and $500. I'm entering.
Cool video. Speaking of which, does anyone know any good video games involving fashion and sewing? I know there's Fashion Craze and the Fashion Fantasy Game, but are there any others? Specifically, I'm looking for something with a sewing center like on the Fashion Fantasy Game.
This was a very good video. I teach sewing to many Scouts and I wish I could explain things this clearly. Thank you for taking the time to speak clearly without a lot of noise or clutter in the video. Simple is Great!
My choir teacher gives us uniforms to wear, the men get tuxedos, and the ladies have dresses. My teacher said that for us girls that it is a lifesaver to sew your own hems rather than go to a tailor to get it done. I didn't know how to do a proper hem until now. Your video is a lifesaver!
The Threads video series are awesome. I love that she explains the details very clear and the video quality is wonderful. I feel like taking on one of my patterns right now... but I have to wait until the weekend... :) too much school work to get done first... Please keep up the video series Threads.... I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

As a bloke with a hole in his shorts who just bought a needle and thread for the first time ever - this is very useful!

@SuperPeanut2010 Different cultures will develop different vernaculars. Why is that so difficult for people to comprehend?

It says teach your (elf) to sew. Other than that, this was a very helpful sewing lesson. Especially the cross stitch for me. Thank you for posting.

Great video. I use the catch stitch on nice t-shirts when I shorten them for a length best for my figure. The stitch stretches well for knits.
