  • so cute

  • yeah - gotta love the Jabberwocky costume FTW

  • Alice liddell was whom carroll based the story on he always said she was alice, the fact that she's american on this annoys me. its like making buffy english or harry potter australian, it just doesn't work!! can you imagine if a film was mad about a great american hero and we make him australian?!? doesn't make sense!! although an austrailian Superman would be quite funny!!xx

  • @missjamie135 if she was a little girl (american or not) growing up in England, wouldn't she have an english accent?

  • @Medusa0999 yeah thats what I mean, she should have a brittish accent! it doesn't work in an american setting

A note to american flim and TV Industry: We don't make your Heroes English, so don't make ours American!! can you imagine if we made superman english or even bufy? it would suck fo you and us!!!x

  • They always make english people villains. That's the way amarican filmmaking works these days...

  • @missjamie135 yeah 'wheres me beer mate, superman needs one every arvo' XD

  • i do not understand it more

  • Alice Liddell was an english brunette...I will never understand why everyone believes she is an american blondie!!

  • @killingjar99 ah yes, you are both correct and incorrect there. alice liddell is NOT alice from alice in wonderland. it is just the name, not the looks that are based on her. but true, she IS supposed to be english.

  • Awww she is like sooo cute but I really do wish she was wearing blue dress.

"It's a good thing I'm all grown up or else I would be a little frightened." she's so sweet ♥

  • Aw....This Alice is so cute. I'm not a pedophile but you have to admit that this girl is lovely.

  • we are making a school project of the jabberwokey and we did the same as this girl did and we got an A+ yay :) thanks for the great vidio

  • at least they got one part right.

    alice is only 7 years old and they always make her older, the age of this little girls is perfect :}

  • It is not an accent she is a child actor of the 70's and 80's. She graduated from Laguna Hills High School, you do not get more American. She lives in Utah and she was on Happy Days.

  • @Boccherini64 I I don't know what you mean. Her "accent" isn't really terrible at all :)

  • Damn The First Time I Saw This Scene I pooed Meh Pants her parents cant see her there was singing and silly costumes this was out of place and realy frightned Me !

  • @Boccherini64 How do you know she is American, could be Canadian. Is there only 1 accent in any country (Does a Gordie speak the same way as someone from London). Ah, to be a bigot like you. Must be nice.

  • aww tht was adorable "good thing im grown up right now, otherwise i might be frightened" *she looks around in a frightened way* haha so cute!!

  • she looks familiar

  • awsome

  • oh please grown up? what does that mean to her and plus she is AMERICAN who made this movie.........thumbs up if ya like the new movie of alice in wonderland

  • @TheAlvinandbrittney im sure if u watch the whole movie itd make sense it appears tho tht she wantd to b treated like a grown up and so she says she grown up which is y she says "good thing im grown up otherwise i might be frightened"

i could b wrong tho ive nvr seen this version and tht was just an assupmtion i made so dont take my word for it, i would reccomend tho going and getting the movie from ur local library or rent it from ur local blockbuster

  • @TheAlvinandbrittney im sure if u watch the whole movie itd make sense it appears tho tht she wantd to b treatd like a grown up and so she says she is grown up which is y she says "good thing im grown up otherwise i might be frightened" more to convince herself than any1 else

  • cute:)

  • lol she said "Jabbawacky"

  • what year was this made?

  • the only reson i look'd this up is to see the whole damn scene!

  • i dont like tis version the best versions in my opinion of alice are:

    alice in 1933

alice in wonderland by Lou Bunin

alice in wonderland 1951 by disney

    alice in wonderland 2010

    :)

  • that was such an old t.v. show

  • Man I just saw this scene on a review of this t.v. special, and what happens next came so completely out of no where that it scared the shit out of me.

  • I don't remember anything in the cartoon about a Jabberwocky. Oo

  • @PokemonGod93 the cheshire cat was singing a bit of what she said and in the new movie the mad hatter was reciting it while they were walking through the burned forest

  • @PokemonGod93 It was in the book. Disney didn't add it to the cartoon but the book is what the newest one, Tim Burton's, tried to focus on.

  • jab ba wak kee?

  • this is random but.. GO JABBAWOCKEEZ!

  • @xOxKRPJxOx THis is the origin of the legends..Dude, you need to see their Vegas show-called MUS.I.C. (muse-i-see). They are taking over the Las Vegas Strip

  • @xOxKRPJxOx Folk,s the Jabbawockeez are a must see in Las Vegas @ The MGM Grand. They have return shows August 19-25

  • I for one think her accent is adorable. It's that sort of thing that you hear in older movies. Makes me think of Shirley Temple.

  • She was sO cute!!

  • She has that horrible "old time" voice....

  • Tim Burton ( I like most of his works) took incredible original story and made a Harry-Potter-kind-of-video, loosing every mathematicial, logical and psychological twist.

  • Erm... I guess I'm gona be 'that guy' (or girl if you will) and ask: Why is Alice American...? XD

  • @BethsDreamland

cause this is really old and low budgeted, they couldn't afford british alice.

  • @offmyrockervideos

    Ahaha, fair enough! XD

  • dude thats tight~

  • the girl reminds me of my cousin matt

  • the Alice character kinda looks like it was played by a little boy.

  • I ABSOLUTELY adore this.

  • Of course Lewis Carrol is the author of this poem, it's IN the Alice books! It's not as if it were a separate piece.

  • My FAVORITE Alice movie (I LOVED this as a kid, I remember it was a made for tv movie) I even prefer this movie to the Disney Animated one. I like them all but this is the best.. Great well known actors in it as well

  • we are singing this in choir, its a very weird song, i know its really a poem but the author made it into a song but its different from what the cheser cat sings

  • That is because Disney doesn't believe in accuracy :)

  • That's one of my favorite poems!

  • shes so cute!

  • This was released on DVD in the US in 2006...some movie stores may still carry it...

  • I LOVE this movie.

  • i am crapping my pants right now.. and alice, it's a comedy poem

  • I just bought a copy on E-bay. just type in "Alice through the looking glass dvd" you will eventuall find an auction with a screenshot for the picture. Wasnt cheep, like $30. Good luck.

  • this is my fav. scene of the whole movie along with the end

  • Oh why does Alice have a terrible American accent? i believe she was English!

  • Exactly what I thought when I heard the first bit.

    "Jabbawaahky."

  • @Boccherini64 wotcha expect, American film industry takes the best stories from foreign countries cause they aint got any and americanize/ruin them

  • @Boccherini64 i believe ned kelly had an australian accent, but we had to put up with mick jagger's very english accent in that movie

  • @sliat1981 Actually, Irish accent!

  • @borgduck if that's what it was meant 2 b, then he done a poor one. he sounded british 2 me

  • @sliat1981 Did I say it was perfect? He was probably better off doing an 'Allo, 'Allo accent!

  • @Boccherini64 I agree with you, yet can't thumb you up!

  • This scene scared the living daylights out of me as a child...but who can blame me? I was only 5! :)

  • hahahaha, me too!
