But still, Suffocated is probally one of the most known metal bands in China, probably everyone who likes metal there know suffocated, maybe even people who don't really like metal. In my country Finland even some not so good or not so popular bands have alot of more videos in youtube.

some people say Chinese metal bands don't sound like the west.. some people say they don't sound Chinese. why does it have to be attached with national boundaries? we can speak of the sound with certain traditional elements in a local region?

Sounds like American metal? I never knew the sound of palmmuted E-strings was dependant of the nation you're from.

Just kidding, I think he is talking about the lyrics. Chinese syllables are great to grunt, because the Chinese language, unlike English, has a lot of smooth syllables, which you can grunt with ease.
