  • You're both going to hell.

  • yes, they may be small but they still have teeth...

  • Just saying Bettas are like any other fish THEY SHOULD NOT BE KEPT IN BOWLS. THEY NEED A HEARER AND A FILTER AND DECORATIONS LIKE ANY OTHER FISH WOULD. PLEASE THUMBS UP THIS COMMENT. TOGETHER WE CAN SAVE TROPICAL FISH!

  • @BulldogLacrosse lol idiot do they have decorations when they live naturally in puddles?

  • @ChillMascaras they do not live in puddles. They live in rice paddies. Yes, there is a time in their life cycle that the water nearly dries up, however, they have a very very high mortality rate during that period. When you look at their natural environment, it's up to your knees, and most betta males have 1-3 FEET of area they keep as their own territory... so, essentially, a 45-55 gallon tank if you were to recreate it. The minimum rec. size to keep a beta is 2.5 gallons.

  • @BulldogLacrosse actually no they dont. bettas can be kept in small bowls.

  • @MySweetParadigm how would you like to be kept in a tiny freezing room all your life? I am actually not going to be angry because this is just a mere case of ignorance. Not calling you stupid, just acknoledging your little knowledge on fish care.

  • ladies and gentlemen, the most daring girls in the world! /naww

  • Its not the dangers its because you put your finger in there. Which your not supposed to or it will bite it thinking its food or it gets scared.

  • wow ive ben bit by an oscar hurts way more than betta

  • @dudeluvsbettas Hey, how often should I change my water, I have a 0.82 gallon bowl. Sorry just got my little fish today!

  • o.k. here we go! DEAR COCKSUCKERS,,,, all you cocksucking pathetic wana be betta police, capatin save a hoe defender of all things bettas just need to shut the fuck up get a life , hobby, or girlfreind you have far too much time on hands and no brains! there is nothing wrong with bettas in quart or half gallon or whatever bowls vases whatever, the only thing is need to do frequent partial water changes and use a mirror every once in while to excersise them and they are fine!! dumb cocksuckers!

  • @dudeluvsbettas (continued) so all you pathetic obnoxious ignorrant wanna be betta police can eat a big fat throbby purple shiny helmet ( i know your all retarded, so let me translate that for you = GIANT AFRO AMERICAN COCK! fuckers!) but anyone saying this isnt o.k. for a betta has no business ever speakin in public again about anythin betta related. stupid annoying wanna be p.e.t.a cocksuckers! eat shit, choke, pass away, and enjoy hell, so rest sane world can have some peace! dumb fucks!

  • @dudeluvsbettas i wish these PETA idiots actually knew what they were talking about because if they took the time i'd support them but as it stands they are idiots

  • 00:05 Wut she doing with her hair?

  • How did I get here

  • Oh good greif she is such a wimp

I've had carp sucking on my hands before trying to get some food and she freaks out cuz a 2 inch long fish jumps a little

  • My betta had a kind of small tank and he was very happy! But our house was cold one day, so, yeah :[ .

  • @XxToxicSpikesxX,

It was like, just a bit bigger than that one.

  • @XxToxicSpikesxX yes, there is nothing wrong with qurt sized half galon or whatever sized, bowls for betta's. only cocksuckers with too much time on hands comb the web for people to harrass and act like they are fucking betta police, lol, lol. cocksuckers. you just need to do partial water changes often and if can use mirror to excersise them every once in while. and they are dany as dandy gets in them. these fucking captain save a hoe defender of all things betta retarded cocksuckers are idiots!

  • My sister had a betta in a large tank all to himself and it was a happy fish. It was never skidish, never hid in a corner or in the hollow of a rock. It was always out in the open and curious when we came to see it.(which was all the time). It wasn't until we had to move him to a small tank again that he became less active. Then a month later he passed away. I think if a fish can get depressed, he did. And no, it wasn't the water. So yes, bettas do like open tanks, just be aware of its behavour.

  • Lol retarded for putting your finger in there. I have a Beta and he has so much Character in him it's too cute.<3

  • DAM U GO GIRL u got a verry good betta fish most americans don't have so agresive betas like that!!!!!

  • fck u idt girl

  • Fkc u idt

  • DANGERS OF HUMANS

  • many people that keep fish do not have optimal setups for their fish. That's just life, many animals will find their way into homes without having adequate living space, I have a baby arowana its in a one gallon tank right now, eventually he will move on to a 90 gallon tank with oscars, but I dont have a 300 gallon tank to throw him into, one day I may.

  • oh thanks for the shrill. think it woke everyone in my house

  • Everything Cubavids said goes with what I've learned over the years.. Didn't think about the tall = no swimming room thing though.... Dang.. gotta get somethin for my betta.

  • leave the damn fish alone stupid little girl

  • wow you freak out over a tiny betta and you freak out so much its like you think you're gonna die... and a red belly piranna (ok idk how to spell it) then thats something to scream about

  • I feel sorry for these fish. theyre soo boring and lifeless. Theyre only pretty on the outside. But inside theyre cold and dead.

  • @kionie1 not really, my fishy loves me and gets along with other fish. besides, there fish what do you expect? there brain is so small there is only room for instincts for survival, so if they feel threatened of coarse they are gunna be cold and attack.

  • I used to put my finger in a betta tank then I took a arrow to the knee

  • I have a blue betta male named Barnum.

  • that poor fish is probably dead now...this bowl is to keep bettas as decoration, and they are not decorations.

  • get a tank

  • grow up! really it not like they r phiranas lol

  • Score 1 for betta, score 0 for the girls lol

  • That is not dangerous your hair is cuz you wash it w/ shampoo right? shampoo is poisonis 2 bettas and soap

  • (to that whore of a woman) THATS WHAT U GET U SICK BASTARD AND IF HE WAS FROM PETSMART I AM GLAD HE DID THAT

  • @nintenenixgamer said the peanut gallery...

  • betta's bites dont hurt

  • @sammytheshark1 I know because I let my bettas bite my finger alot and honestly it feels like they are attempting to give my finger a hickey. lol

  • i got two betta fish.one is active and agressive but the other, pfff,it won't even care if i put another fish in its tank,it sleeps most of the time and keep dreaming i think...

  • They have the name "Beta" fish but are also called Siamese fighting fish. They have VERY sharp teeth that are meant to rip and tear the fins of other Beta fish. NEVER keep two males in one tank.

  • @toadtanker If I put one male and one female in one tank?

  • 0:21 HORSE SCREAMING

  • you pot beta it"s betta

    :p

  • I have 45 gallon soom to be switched out of the 10 g.MY goldfish is medium size he is a comet so ya. Might take awhile to grow out of it.

  • Try that with my oscar.-_- Smh my betta is in a ten gal with a gold fish an a minnow. At least buy a 1-5 gallon.

  • @OscarChiclids12 a tengallon is WAY to small for a gold fish, especially sharing eith other fish.

  • @OscarChiclids12 try my red belly piranha

  • Just because bettas can live in a small tank doesn't mean they should.

  • @AcidfartProductions agreed, i have my betta in my old aquarium from when i had a variety of fish so he has plenty of room

  • This is why, when I go to college, I have to leave my betta behind with my sister. :/ He lives in a spacious 2.5gal tank with a lid, filter, light, etc. but I would hate stupid, obnoxious kids such as in this video messing with him when I'm away. It makes me sad, but I'd rather he be safe in my quiet room at home.

  • That fish is angry because that fucking thing is too small for him, stupid idiots.

  • beta fish fighting popcorn kernel! go to my page!

  • You should really have a bigger bowl/tank for this beta. Cutie though!

  • If she was in the kitchen this wouldn't have happened, lol just kidding I would have done the same thing

  • errrrr.............

  • Danger? He nibbled your finger. It's not like he bit it off, or even made you bleed.

  • i got one today and its a betta and its blue like yours

  • @Fantage90210 it does not have to be in a 10 gallon tank you are dumb they can be in a 2.5 gallon tank or one gallon!

  • LOL

  • my beta is really relaxed, i put my hand in, he swims to it and chills in my hand. i luv him

  • @manardi55 You shouldn't touch your fish, it's breaks their mucus coats and leaves them open to infection.

  • its dumb beta fish keeper

  • Why dosen my betta do that??? hes realy cool with me

  • This is why some people shouldnt have animals. I wish that fish could jump outta that small bowl and stuff ur a** in it.

  • BAAAD container for betta (or any fish). Never get tall skinny ones as there's no room for them to swim. And bettas are prone to JUMPING - so always have a mesh lid (to allow for good airflow) to keep them from getting out. Don't think betta's don't like larger tanks just because they're sold in cups. They're sold that way because they're hardy fish, but those cups are torture chambers. Get your betta some room and some ornaments and he'll be happy. Cheers.

  • @CubaVids Listen to this guy...horrible set up for a betta

  • @CubaVids wow. did you know that small containers are ideal? These fish live in mud puddles in their natural habitat. They actually have little lung-like organs so they can live outside of water for periods of time. They jump from puddle to puddle, so this TALL container is good being it is too high for a beta to jump out of.

  • @alkalinerush it is true that bettas can live in small containers - they feel safe knowing their entire surroundings and can be startled when put into a larger tank. Which is why it's best to put them into a larger tank by themselves first, THEN add other fish. But even though they live in shallow puddles, they still have much more room to move than a small glass. All living things need their room, and from experience I can say that my bettas are MUCH happier when I put them into my 5G tank.

  • @alkalinerush No they don't live in mud puddles. They live in rice paddies, which are shallow, BUT there is flow. Rice paddies flood and drain. It is constantley refreshed. The less water in the tank the more you have to change it. The more you change the water the more stress on the fish. This is why goldfish die a lot. Bettas are tougher but still. It's best to have a filter and thermostat.

  • @CocacolaCowboy1919 Actually goldfish is not supposed to put on small tank or bowl at all. In proper aquarium they actually grow bigger than this stupid bowl is, norm for goldfish really is like 100 liters/1 goldfish. Too bad that general culture has made some people think that they could be put to this kind of very small bowls and such, just because as tough fishes they may live for few years it does not mean that it isnt nothing but torture.

  • @Pvjinflight Did you read what I said??? I said the reason goldfish die is because people keep them in small containers, and you have to change the water more, and that stresses fish out.

  • @CocacolaCowboy1919 Yeah but keeping them in small container itself is harmful for them, and of course water changing does tress them too.

  • @Pvjinflight YES NO SHIT why are you telling me??? I KNOW THIS! I TOLD SOMEONE THEY SHOULD HAVE A FILTER AND BETTER SYSTEM!!!

  • @CocacolaCowboy1919 Yeah sorry I thought that you meant that they die because of water changing that you must do more often in small container, and I tried to point out that ALSO small container itself is harmful, not just too often happening water changing it causes.

  • @Pvjinflight A lot of fish do die from the frequent changes...Goldfish and guppies do all the time. I am saying that small containers require frequent changes and frequent changes kill them. I had small guppies in a jar and I didn't know any better. I would change them and they died AFTER the change.

  • @CocacolaCowboy1919 Or could it be that water you changed had somehow different temperature or PH?

Anyways at least in here Finland its illegal to keep any fish in tank smaller than 40 liters or 10 gallons

  • @Pvjinflight No same temp and ph. It is because they can't handle the stress of being scooped up and thrown into water. It is well known.

  • @CubaVids someday, I am going to get a 300 gallon tank and surroundings similar to what a betta or feeder fish may be used to and just let it roam free... right into the mouth of my moray eel :)

  • @CubaVids hahahahahahaha! i love these cocksucking betta busy bodies run around web running their mouths harrassing people acting like they are fucking betta police lmmfao! stfu you cocksucker theres nothing wrong with that bowl you fuckstick jerkoff! bettas are fine in quart jars but you just have to do partial water changes often. and if can use a mirror to excersise them every once in awhile is dandy to. you fucking cocksuckers on you tube make me sick stfu fuckstick get a hobby or a woman!

  • @CubaVids (continued) and i hope you pass soon so when your in hell you can see what "torture" or "torture chamber" really is you dumb fuck piece of dog shit on a dogs lip stick winky after he (gay ass dog) gets done sodomizing another dog, thats what you are, the flecks of dog poo on gay dogs lip stick winky cocksucker! that betta is perfectly happy healthy and fine as any would be in such a container. and btw fuckwrag, they are sold in small cups cause they agressive dumbass not cause "hardy"

  • ummm, please. betta fishes...well all fishes arnt ment to be kept in vases/bowls the ammonia will build up fast. there is not enough room for them too swim, thats like being in one of those tiny jail cells. 1 betta fish needs AT LEAST 10 or 20 gallons of water space and plants

  • lol that was awesome

and btw I own the same flower vase/bowl lol

  • Come on guys. It's actually funny, no offense made -.-

  • @Aearian Like if I were to lock my dog in a closet?

  • Poor wee fish in this tiny bowl :(

  • @myfatcat16 nothing wrong with it. bettas only need about 2 liters, but ours was in a 5 gallon for 6 years

  • The dangers of morons!!!

  • The dangers on Blondes having bettas !

  • Hey dipshit- your betta is an air breather- a vase doesn't provide them enough air to breath. It's like if someone put you into a room with a tiny little window that barely provided oxygen. Learn to take care of your pets and quit being an asshole. They need 1 gallon of water to live in.

  • @bluedragnkittn actually you should not go with anything less than 5 gallons but i suppose if space is an issue 1 gallon is better than that bowl. a happy well cared for betta will appreciate 5 and up though. :)

  • lol

  • Betta fish do have strong fast jaw reflexes. I can get mine to jump up several inches and lock onto a blood worm.

  • do bettas bite cuz i have 1 and i need to know before i do the breeding with her im only 15 so i need to know

  • @MrMindchasm i know that sharks are fish, but i mean the SMALL ones like betta, goldfish, koi and anything else like that!when ur online, just leave ppl alone.it's none of u beeswax,ok?

  • LOL it's a betta fish, not a spider :P

  • You put it even in smaller pot and depress it more, k?

  • Your fish is demented.

  • I've had Bettas - and he certainly did not think your finger was food :). He wasn't afraid of you, so clearly he was saying "get the -insert word here- out". :).

  • that betta fish is not trying to bite ...even my goldfish does that ...and i find it soo cutee..now how can a fish know whether its a finger or food ..:D

  • don't put your dirty hair in the water

  • NO GIRLS ALLOWED

  • wow you are scared of a fish you are a ass hole

  • Fish don't have teeth and get a bigger tank,aquarium,or bowl o.0

  • @JcmJanah your statement is stupid. Sharks, which are fish, have lots of teeth... barracuda, pike, piranha etc.. However Betta, dont have teeth.

  • Why are you so scared of a betta fish? It's just curious about your finger... AND EVERYONE WANTS YOUR 24 SECONDS BACK!

  • poor fish poor you.such an idiot.

oh and p.s. 111,993 of us want 24 secs back

  • Dumbass.

  • Dangers TO bettas: Asian women pokin their hair in the fishes' home!

  • The dangers of a dumb fish keeper...

  • you should put a lid on that .. they LOVE to jump out :/

  • sad, generally if he jumps at your finger like that it's a sign he trusts you and is willing to touch you for food. it's not painful. stop being a wuss.

  • Really pretty fish :D

  • hahaha i see th last part for 5 times hahaha

  • Lololol bitch please, grow up. It's just a fish. And I can see something wrogn with the containment of the betta. You do NOT put them in vases. It must be cramped in there.

  • @laflornegra the only reason you put the "dangers" of a betta fish is because you were putting your hair and finger in the water. thants like God breaking the roof of your house and poking around your home

  • LOL that girl is scared of a fish, REALLY?!

  • where is ur life? Do u really have nothing better to do.

  • So retarded

  • OMG this is stupid

  • Please....Try being bitten by an Oscar, they take meat!

  • This bitch is dumb hahah

  • The dangers of low self esteem young adults letting lame TV jokes pressure them into doing retarded stunts

  • ...Like really? I have a beautiful male betta, he is not attacking you moron. He's simply thinking its food, it doesn't even hurt, i let my betta Rufus nibble my finger all the time.. >_>

  • zThe danger of morrons!

  • it cant hurt you, now put your finger in a piranha tank then you know what you will be screaming about

  • yes indeed grow up
