  • this song was good, but mutt definitely made it better. I don't mean sound-wise, because it did sound pretty tight, but structure-wise. That harmony sounds really out of place right before the solo and slapping the chorus immediately after the solo wasn't a great idea either. But that's what producer's are for. They bring out the best potential in their musicians. Certainly Joe Elliot improved AFTER working with mutt.

  • Wow! Thanks for putting it in perspective of how much Mutt contributed to the band's sound. You can really tell with this song with how it is here and how it ended up on the album.

  • they should play this song live more often

  • what? the sound isn´t that great?

    Sounds amazing!

  • great photo!! Pete is very cute♡

  • I think the sound is great. The problem is that the guitars are way out of tune.

  • This is easily the best quality of this show I've heard, thanks!

  • I was there at Reading festival was only 14 at the time but can still remember it well lol the good old days hahaha

  • @wyllie1966 so cool! :D yo uknow any song def leppard ripped off?

  • yeah! :46 Pete Willis has a WCMF T-shirt on! Rochester, NY my hometown

  • Where did you find all the rare pictures?

  • @HanonGuurl527 From Ross Halfin's website. He has photographed the band since '78.

  • @HanonGuurl527 Which is now all in a book by Def Leppard, Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble has it, I can't wait to get it!

  • omg, how many old cool photos! thanks for posting this

  • Awesome video dude! I really miss THIS line up of the band. Def Lep today (as they would say from Lep's homeland) is PURE RUBBISH.

  • Too bad there isn't a video of this show. It was a brutal experience for Def Lep. They had all sorts of crap thrown at them. They thought it was the end of the line.

  • What is Phil Colin doing in this video clip at 1:50? Pete Williis baby!!! He contributed in a big way to the hardcore sound of the 1st 3 Def Lep albums (as did Steve Clark). Too bad they are both gone. That being said, I still think Phil Colin did a great job on Hysteria.

  • @Boudosaved I don't know, I guess I was not paying attention to the pics I put in. Sorry about that. Thanks much for watching do closely. Plus I agree, some of the best riffs came form Willis/Clark.

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Wow... Haven't heard this song in a Long Time... Luvv Old Lepp & in Particular Willis/Clark.. Not the Same without Them!.. On Fire for Sure! Thanx for this Wicked Post!..

  • This was the REAL Def Leppard b4 cthat sissy boy phil collen came into the picture. What once was will never be again.

  • I heard they did a song called Long way from home at this show, that it was one of there songs they never used anywhere. Anyone ever heard it?

  • @nwbritt I have it. It is not the best sound quality, but I can try to get around to posting it. Let me know.

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Yeah man I really wanna hear it.

  • Whoa do you have the rest of the concert in this quality?

  • @DefLep4Eva1995 No I don't. I wish I did, but I only have Medicine Man, Wasted and Lady with this quality.

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Dammit! This is amazing seriously o.o also what's the status on Tokyo and the Marquee?

  • @BludgeonRiffola87 Can you post Wasted from this concert in this quality?

  • Oh wait, I see, the old one is bad quality ahahaha.
