Theres not too many of them around right now.

I like pure rock and roll and maybe just rock but can appreciate subtler nuances.

I like opera and classical too and guitarry things which is a weird mix.

Never cared for Guns N Roses much, Never thought of their music as being too original. It always seemed like they were leveraging too much off of some of the great bands from the preceding 70's decade.

But with that said, this song is probably the exception. The one song of their's that I find unique in style and sentiment. IMHO.

Yes Axl's voice does grate on my nerves, and that is one big turn-off for much of their music. On this particular song, the usual Axl screech is held in check, at least til the ending minute or so. Listening to what was called heavy metal at the time (Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Robin Trower, in the early 70's, most every guitar rift that could be imagined was done.
