Interesting how I remember like every sound effect and graphic of this - like I played it yesterday. In fact the last time I've seen this was like 20 years ago on my 800XL, I think it was together with "The Eidolon" my very first videogames in my life. Thanks for putting this up.
Heh, yeah I know :^D I haven't played the thing in around 15 years, and i was rubbish at it then. I don't have a proper Atari joysick either, some weird thing that I have to hold at 45 degs which is very odd?
I still love to see that sunset, and the sound effects just amazing

I'd love to see the computer science graduates of today program games like this...in machine code! I best most couldn't.

Awesome game, and much, much better than the awful C64 version. Terrible video quality and playing, though.

Wow! This is nothing like the Comodore 64 version, which I've played. The C64 version was more like Space Invaders.

why do these camels look like llamas? did the programers not know what camels look like?
and i know even with the limited graphics making a recognizable camel cant be too hard.

Suggesting Jeff Minter doesn't know the difference between a camel and a llama is little short of blasphemy!
(He owns a llama)

Sacrilege to say it, but although I thought the graphics were good (and the idea funny), I always found the game itself too repetitive and boring.
