My buddy put a flowmaster series muffler single to dual, his sounds like a space ship once the turbo spools up... craziest thing ever and it sounds much better than this

i had an 01 s2k with cai, but it's about equal performance for similar money when stock. my buddy just got an '08 redline. theyre neck and neck stock, even though there is more torque on the redline, the s2000 feels just as powerful as the redline does under boost when you hit vtec

with a big enough wastegate they do. it sounds like this guy upgraded the wastegate. thats too loud for a factory car.

His BOV is loud because he has an intake on the car. The intake connects directly to the turbo, so when he releases the pressure, the sound is amplified through the pipe. It's not as loud on the stock intake.

The Sky is a REALLY nice looking car. I have to be honest, before the Sky came out, I never though I would buy a Saturn. Anyhow, this car is a 2.4L, not a redline.

I own a VERY moded Ion Redline and I beat the pants off the Sky redline, the sky is a great car and i will gor one of those too. and redlines ARE faster than S2000

I was talking about stock vs stock idiot. No redline is faster than an s2000, maybe about the same quarter miles with good drivers but slap a turbo on an S2000 and see what happens. And skys have the worst ragtop design ever.

I just think its hilarious that a NA 2.0/2.2 liter honda has the same if not a little better performance than a TURBO GM 2 liter. And in the handling department the s2000 just blows the Sky away. Just sayin.

and what are you basing your comments on? I own a sky red line, and I've driven an S2000 many times. The sky not only pulls much harder than the s2k all throughout the rpm band, but it also out handles the s2k. .9Gs of the sky vs. .87Gs by the s2k. The stabilitrak on the sky makes it too unfair.

i ran my buddys 04 s2k with exhaust in a stock redline from the dealership and walked him and being that the sky is turbo it doesnt take much to upgrade it

Uh I have an 04 Vette and it will rape....just kidding! I love that sound it makes the Sky sound mean! I was going to purchase a Sky Redline, but it was taking too long (wait list) so I opted for a used Vette instead, but I still look at the Sky very fondly. Mad respects to Sky owners. Have fun!

Decker, please keep your comments respectful. Why are you trolling around in a Sky video if your S2000 is so great. Go drive it! I like your car and if I had wanted to spend another $10,000 for 1/2 the looks I would have that one instead.

By the way Rollhard, I got the exhaust put on my redline and it sounds great and the extra power is obvious too! Thanks for the great design!

@sphiatt I think it's because the s2000 is more fuel efficient and therefore a much better car. The sky is a poorly conceived car with terrible fuel economy and therefore a much less green footprint on our mother earth.

Fuel efficiency is a very important aspect of modern sports care, if you can even call a Sky that, design. It's why I'd never drive a Camaro or Mustang but I own a CR-Z. The CR-Z is the sports car of the future, like it or not. True performance and fuel efficiency.

The title is incorrect. That is our (Race Precision) car. It is a 2.4L Sky with our 2.4GT conversion. The engine's compression was lowered, turbocharged and intercooled. The suspension, brakes and wheels have been upgraded also but is not shown in this video.

I have an '06 S2000 stock. I think the Solstice and the Sky are a joke but your exhaust on the Sky Red Line gives me some respect for them. I geuss. Just don't expect to be able to hang in the canyons or on a tight track. Later

Hi deck. We make the GT exhaust and 2.4GT conversion on the sky and solstice. Im not sure why you think the cars are a joke. We also tune Hondas and I can tell you the our sky will absolutely murder the s2000 both on the track and streets. 410whp with 389wtq is plenty to give respect to.

Stock for stock, the ap2 will be around the same time in the quarter as the redline. Driver's race. Stock for stock, the s2k outhandles, although the braking would be questionable along with the clutch. Not sure about the redline's as it hasn't be around that long. Try a boosted s2k then and post it up. Same psi and decent drivers in both cars.

Its hard to compare the s2k and the sky as they have totally different characteristics. I've driven both and the sky has much more torque hands down. The s2k is fun in that its got plenty of top end power and revs up nice and high. The sky will redline just past 6k.
