How can I turn of the sound / decrease volume? I cant find it in the game. I would rather listen to some music while tzping but the ingame sound is MUCH louder... pls pls:)

If you are downloading The Typing of the Dead This is how I DID IT:

1) Go to site and download

2)Once that is done - unzip the file 'install'

3)To play you have to Click 'Tod_e'

*some people have complaints that sound does not work. Try opening file named 'sound' and let it do its thing

@MrXyron It says in the in STEP 3 * to open the file "sound" and run it. That should re-correct it. If that does not work, I have failed you and my life is not worth living.

I dont know I just messed around with the Files and then I played then sound suddenly went on.

in the files there was something the said "setup", I double clicked that and waited for the command prompt to stop doing some things and then it disappeared. I went into the game right after that and the sound worked.
