  • Best version of this remarkable piece that I've found on YouTube. Thanks for sharing.

  • your ending is better than German's!

  • I am only watching this because my name is David German haha

  • PS - I would love to hear you play Geoffrey Bush's TRUMPET MARCH!

  • Excellent playing; lovely bounce and elan!

  • I agree! Take out the carpet for true acoustics!

  • I love the huge pedal at 2:05 i had the volume up full nd nearly put the windows through ;-)

  • Wounderful organ!!! Marvellous Trumpet!!!

  • TAKE THE CARPET OUT OF THIS CHURCH

it will release the true power of this magnificent organ

  • Really like the smooth transition at 0:50

  • This was played as the recessional to mass last sunday. Oh my gosh I fell in love with it! I want it for my wedding! ^0^

  • Love this piece!!!!! It was played at my wedding as the processional!

  • @BH061595 What freak? Jason? Go listen to Praise the Lord with Drums and Cymbals that he posted. That's loud and festive.

  • I apologise for judging him. I didn't realise that that was the composer of the song that was posted as the song title. Every time I type in,"Loud pipe organ songs", David German is the one who is listed as playing it. I thought he was the one who was playing this piece

  • @BH061595 I don't think I've actually seen a video of German performing it himself. This is a favorite of the organist at my church, and a favorite of mine.

  • 1:10 is enough trumpet to make you crap yourself!

  • those horizontal trumpets are amazing at 1:11 holy crap!!

  • i know! wow

  • MORE CHAMADES!!!! IN FULL CHORDS! WITH BOTH HANDS!!!...lol

  • Very nice playing, nice organ too... but those Chamades need to be tuned!

  • I got to practice last week on my Schantz IV/72 with Antiphonal with FRESH-TUNED 8' Trompette en Chamades and wow! it was great

  • This is the perfect sized instrument for this piece. Perfect amount of stops needed.

  • This is really beautifully played. I've recorded the piece myself, and some other stuff. Perhaps you'd like to take a look. I'd appreciate your comments, ratings or a subscription to my channel. Just click my name.

  • Very good man...

  • This piece is just awesome. So crisp, clean and inspiring. Nice sound this organ has as well.

    Paul from California

  • Nice job!

  • you could tell folk you played it so hard it goes out of tune at 1:53

  • Wonderful job. Thank you for posting.

  • Very good job! I have just started to learn the organ and I believe I will learn this song as my first full organ tune. I can already play a few small songs on it with moderate proficiency.

  • That organ sounds great!. great playing by the organist
