  • Are you fucking kidding me? Y u no cute girl?

  • Only one thing..Amino Acids=Proteins.

  • This is excellent information, thanks for sharing this with all of us!

  • I think your right on the money but you should add that cooking foods at temperature above 300 degrease will break down the nutrition of the whole food meal. Some foods of course need to be cook in order to release the nutrients for amino acids convention, like beans, rise, and grains.

  • You look very healthy to me. Breads can contain dairy, and eggs, so I try to check ingredients. I have a hard time eating anything heavy or cooked after having been vegan. I crave the raw veggie drinks.

  • Protiens ARE amino acids, that's what they're made of

  • Great videos !!! 80 10 10 !!! : ) you're right about the calorie restriction mindset... It's hard for me to eat more then 1200 calories a day...

  • Thanks for share this wonderful informative video.

  • It doesn't have to be all vegs, I have trouble with this...eating a balanced and healthy diet is the best of all possible ways to treat your body, not eliminating any whole food group.

  • very motivating..thanx xxx

  • Vitamin A and beta-carotene are the same thing, no?

  • For whoever mentioned vegetarian athletes, heres a quick list I found lol. Bill Pearl ( 4 time Mr. Universe), Joe Namath (quarterback), Martina Navratilova (tennis), Tony La Russa (baseball), Robert Parish (basketball), Prince Fielder (baseball), Dave Scott (ironman world champion many times), Billie Jean King (tennis), Carl Lewis (track star). Theres a lot more but it gives people a good idea lol.

  • @AngelaSzekeres No one mentioned VEGETARIAN athletes, we're discussing VEGAN athletes. You deliberately lie to confuse people into believing your lies. No morals, now values, no integrity, just lies, lies, and lies.

  • @EricShermansChannel You dont know me. You've been rude, ignorant, agressive, and very closed minded. Ive been polite, honest, and just telling people the TRUTH. I have more morals, and compassion than you'll ever have. I havent said one thing that was a lie. You assume too much, try actually learning something. Maybe you wont come off as such an idiot. But like I said i hate youtube arguments, so end of conversation, im not reading anything else you write cause you cant be mature or honest....

  • thanks, this was helpful

  • This video is the epitome of what becoming a vegan does to you. Look at this guy. This is a vegan. He's so lethargic he can barely speak or hold himself upright. Look how scrawny he is. Is this what you want to look like? They say they feel better than they've ever felt in their life. Really? Does this guy look like he feels good? Veganism is a lie. It's the worst possible thing you can do to your body. Don't believe these people. Most of them will destroy their bodies, and stop being a vegan.

  • @EricShermansChannel It doesn't help that he is eating 80% carbohydrates and only 10% protein! That is not enough protein and too many carbs for one day.

  • @blondiechicknz True, that's extreme even for a vegan. My geuss is that he drinks a lot of juices. He does make a recomendation for a vita-mix juicer. Taking in large amounts of juices, removed from their natural state causes a a blood sugar similar to drinking soda. Some fruit juices actually have a faster glycemic rate than soda. He should be eating more seeds and nuts, at least, to boost his protein and fats. But he's smart, and I'm ignorant for not being a vegan.

  • @AngelaSzekeres

#1 This conversation is about veganism not vegetarianism.

#2 Your a girl. The nutrients that are void from a vegan diet have far less impact on a girl than a guy. The phytoestrogens in soy are healthy for girls, but throw mens hormones out of sync.

#3 It's you that needs to educate yourself. I know more about vegetarianism, veganism, and diet and nutrition than you ever will. You're wrong.

#4 I know a lot of people who benefited from Atkins, The Zone, Southbeach, and paleo diet

  • @EricShermansChannel I guess I hit a nerve! Ive been studying health and natural healing for 7 years. I doubt you know more than me. You cant tell me I'm wrong when Im talking about people I know who were raised vegan and never get sick. The atkins diet isnt healthy, just because you loose weight doesnt mean its healthy. But obviously you're just a rude person, and you're a waste of my time. Plus its immature to start arguments on you tube. I just want people to know veganism isnt bad.

  • @AngelaSzekeres

In other words you have no response for anything I said so you degrade me once again and then play the victim because I responded. Typical. I never asked you to respond to me in the first place, you said, 'I've seen a lot of people benefit from, including myself, be put down because people don't educate themselves'

You said I was I was putting people down because I didn't educate myself, when in reality I've clearly shown I'm more educated than you. You can't even respond.

  • @EricShermansChannel ok first off, I never mentioned soy, its not essential. Meat has many things that are harmful to the body, too much fat, protein, chemicals of sorts and so on. The point is, vegetarians/vegans tend to be healthier than people who eat meat. Have you ever seen an overweight vegan? Granted some vegans dont eat properly but you can say the same about non vegans aswell. Fad diets are never good. A diet needs to be a life change that will always be healthy, not restricting.

  • @EricShermansChannel By the way, if you want to have a friendly debate im good with that. It gives me the opportunity to learn something new. However, Im a peaceful person and I dont like to participate in arguments. I'll admit when Im wrong because I want to know the truth which unfortunatley is hard to find these days.Either way, try to stop with the put downs, like trying to convince me you're smarter lol, then recommend a fad diet which is not a healthier option that a proper meat free diet.

  • @AngelaSzekeres I'm not trying to say I'm smarter than you, but I've been down this path. I realize that people who become vegan immediately feel healthier from healing a lifetime of eating garbage. But you're trading deficiencies. I eat oatmeal with berries for breakfast, salad for lunch, 2 bananas before the gym, and meat/fish with vegetables for dinner. It's not a fad, it's a balanced holistic approach based on my experiences, though it falls in to the realm of the zone/Southbeach principles

  • @EricShermansChannel Thats where research is needed though, you can get everything from fruits, veggies and herbs. B12 is the only difficult one, but there are still good sources. You need very little, its stored in the body for a long time and deficiencies are rare. When I started doing my research, i tried to prove myself wrong but i honestly couldnt. I dont think everyone should be veg (what you eat is good) but its a good alternative for people who are always sick or unhealthy, and it works.

  • @AngelaSzekeres The key word vegans use is CAN. Your body CAN be forced to do a lot of things, but that doesn't make those things the best or even a healthy way to do things. Peoples cultural diets have ranged from eating 90% animal products to eating 90% vegetable products based on climate and availability. If you feel healthier eating vegan, so be it, just don't preach to me that your in optimum health, like this guy did, and look so obviously not in optimum health.

  • @EricShermansChannel I can tell you've never debated before, so unless you've spent a lot of time researching natural health, this will be pointless. For anyone else reading, there are alot of people who go vegan/vegetarian and never look back. The food is great (especially if you can be creative). Its easy to get enough protein and be very health, even for athletes. It can cure a lot of health problems, especially if you incorporate herbs. I grow most of my food organically and its awesome!

  • @AngelaSzekeres There you go degrading me again, like you've done in every other post, but you cry when I attack you, so I'll refrain. Your lies don't work. Everyone sees what happens to people who become vegan, like the guy in this video, and nobody wants to look and feel like that. You have not laid down any argument to debate, nor have you given any evidence to debate, nor have you aptly responded to any argument I've made or disproved any thing I've laid out.

  • @EricShermansChannel Dont preach your shit when it´s obvious that the unhealthiest people on the planet are meat eaters! Doesnt really matter whether it´s organic or not, animal products are still unhealthy. If it werent true that the vegan, raw vegan or fruitarian diet was the best then how come so many people are losing fat, getting clearer skin, smelling better after ditching meat and processed food? Do your research

  • @thatfruitarianchick Oh please.

  • Comment removed

  • very nice

  • I want to see Zoe Sophia.

  • Thank you for the good tips.

please feature a video on dishes for vegetarians

  • why don't go eat something that's had a face its great. We been doing it for millions of years.

  • @serumclx not every person or group of people have been "doing it" and besides if everyone jumped off a bridge you would do it too right?? I mean everyone's doing it. That way of thinking is very limiting and doesn't take into account the fact that people are all individuals so ..you go ahead and eat things with faces that's your choice not doing that is his. Choices...we all make them and pay for them :)

  • @adoravenus3 LOL I sorry your right the Lötschental in Switzerland, Native Americans, Polynesians, Pygmies, and Aborigines, Eskimos, North and South American Indians, Australian Aborigines they where all Vegetarians and had healthy off spring. all people around the world playing any sport there Vegetarians to. just vegetables provide optimum health. no wait they all eat something with a face lets go jump off that bridge now into optimum health :D

  • @serumclx You said, "all people around the world playing any sport there Vegetarians to. just vegetables provide optimum health. no wait they all eat something with a face"

This isn't true. There are many vegetarian and vegan sports people who are high achieivers. I could reel off a list of names but I don't have time and you won't listen any way. You just want to bash a diet because you don't want to have to face the reality that you don't need animal products and it causes suffering.

  • @marcluc1988 No you can't "reel off a list of names". You're a liar. There is not one vegan professional athlete. Any that tried gave up. Tell the truth. This video is about the extreme of veganism, not vegetarianism, but you people have to lie, manipulate and distort the truth to feed you're pathetic agenda. Name on profeesional athlete that supports veganism. Just one, you fucking liar. You're killing people with your pathetic BS. Do you understand that? You're killing people with your lies.

  • you should feature how to make dishes for vegan or vegetarians

  • Jeez, guys, get a little defensive why doncha? For me, I'm thinking going at least partly vegetarian is what I want to do, whole hog (!!!) vegan is a little too extreme from the sounds of it.

  • How much weed you smoke before making this video? LOL

  • I dont eat anything with a face (unless she's pretty)

  • @FletcherHabit nice

  • Ummm veggies :)

  • humans are designed to eat meat.

  • @peugeotarto ehh, we have self programed , and if your concluding this through canine tooth then heck no its not enough of a reason, i personal use it for touch veggies and herbs such as aloe vera , great for pealing oranges!

    diet is about morality anyways

  • Kettlebells and fucking steak

  • I love this vid. Sunlight (in moderation - no burning!) is essential to healthy living. Keep as much of your diet fresh and raw as possible.

  • I became a vegan for about 6 months after getting out of the army. For a girl, of course. I went from 5'9", 180lbs, bench pressing 225, to 5'9" ,145lbs ,bench pressing 150, in 6 months. I went from being a masculine military man to looking and sounding like this twit in 6 months. Becoming a vegan is the stupidest fad you can possibly do. You'd be better off smoking crack. Is there any man watching this video that wants to look and sound like this guy? I didn't think so.

  • @EricShermansChannel atleats hes not a criminal, diet is about morality, why would you make your body into a cementary?

  • @EricShermansChannel it took you 6 mos to realize you weren't getting enough protein really 6 months..& became a twit from a macualine military man due to not eatting animal protein....something there doesn't add up..I've met lots of raw/ vegan men who are very strong & healthy that don't strike me as a twit but I guess they researched things, kept lifting alot & added more food to get the calories they needed. whatever you do though don't smoke crack..just do things for yourself not 'a girl'

  • @adoravenus3 I never said I wasn't getting enough protein or calories. I ate more protein as a vegan than I do now. It's the B12, Zinc, and cholesterol. When I first started I got really ripped and was happy shedding the first 10 lbs. I was half joking when I said it was for a girl, I was dating a vegan, but I believed in the hype. I know more about nutrition than 99% of people, your research comment is a joke. You're just lying when you say you know "very strong" vegans. Never met one.

  • @adoravenus3 So now I'm confused by you. You come on here defending veganism, but your channel has a video about the Paleo diet, which is the polar opposite of veganism, short of Atkins. The paleo diet is the correct answer. Why would you come on this video and defend someone who derives 80% of the calories from carbs and favorite the paleo diet video? Are you really lost and searching for answers, or were you planning on trolling carnivore videos?

  • @EricShermansChannel I'm not "defending veganisim" so much as defending the right of choice and the total BS that people say that you need to eat meat or you need to not eat meat or you need 1500 calories a day, no you need 3000, oh wait no you need a diet of only "this new awsome thing I just heard about". My simple thought here is people make choices alot of them and simply playing the point your finger game because it has been YOUR experience so it must be true for all is the true hype.

  • @EricShermansChannel - I agree, veganism is a modern fad. The human body is best sustained via animal proteins combined with green proteins. The key with animal proteins is organically fed and bred beasts and fishes. Eating red meat in moderation is healthy. I consume plenty of low-fat, high-cacao chocolate products, plus nuts, legumes, and avocados. I have eliminated animal milk from my diet, and have switched to almond milk + coconut milk (NO SOY). Artificial sweeteners are altogether avoided.

  • @HeroOfChristArchives A man/woman after my own heart. The only grains I eat are Ezekiel 4:9 bread and sometimes oatmeal. No refined anything, all fresh. Vegetables, berries, seeds/nuts, eggs, fish or chicken daily, and beef once a week. No pork. No processed meats. No soy. No milk, except for a little in coffee. I justed started on the 85% chocolate, though only once a week, on grocery day. All free range and organic. I also drink Kefir as a post workout protein shake a couple times a week.

  • @EricShermansChannel - Good deal, my friend. Keep the Vita-Mix going! A correction, I do use low-fat yogurt (low in fat, high in protein and cultures) in my smoothies, plus the amazing Barlean's extra virgin coconut oil (UPC: 705875000253) for the essential MCFA, Omega-6, Omega-9. Another phenomenal product is the Y.S. Organic raw honey (UPC: 726635121124) which is good in oatmeal and hot tea. I get excited when late summer rolls around and the farmers markets are on display. And I ♥ fish! #LOL

  • @EricShermansChannel I think that you should read the "china study" if you really want to live a healthy life, don't fool your self with a life time of animal consumption; it adds up and you will wounder what happened to me.

  • I can't wait to see some of the comments on this video. Interesting info. Thanks for the upload.

  • your a cute vegan :)

  • i would love to compare notes - could you send me a message via youtubemail

  • fruit is the best fuel for the body. leafy greens and sunlight is healing and strengthening. get plenty of fresh air and make sure you breathe deep. remember you breathe shallow and you get shallow results

  • 80% carb = skinny fat like this guy.

  • @bambarby ?

  • This is very useful! I'm a vegetarian myself and working my way to becoming a full vegan. :)

  • @OMFGitsmaggie Hi! What's stopping you from becoming vegan straight away?

  • @Trashwolfe I want to be able to afford high quality tallow and stuff one day! I get coconut oil from walmart atm...lol

  • wether people like to accept it or not... doing steps 8 and 9 and doing them well probably out way what u eat...you could eat beer and pizza and probably feel ok

  • shit... 80% carb wow

  • just in case you are not aware, a lot of breads contains 'high fructose corn syrup' / corn syrup, it goes by several different names. the US FDA has classified it as 'generally regarded as safe'. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this topic, so I suggest you do your own inquiry. And why 80% carbs and only 10% fats, is it because you believe that less fats = healthy?

  • Vegan powers activate !

  • I've been trying to eat more plants, I use hemp for my protein!

  • C'Mon is his first video give him a cheers up. Don't be a hater.

  • @1983JuanCarlos are you talking about this video? This dude has done videos before.

  • He's cute, but he doesn't seem very energetic or informative. Leave the nutrition videos to Corrina!

  • I am raw vegan and I am loving it.

  • Sorry man but its looks like your diet gives you less testosterone

  • I was vegan for 10 years but felt my brain was not working right so I started to eat fish and eggs and feel much better.

  • apple in the background? so cliche

  • @markangeloc Be Very Carefull at what u r doing!! do your own deep research!! dont trust Just what he says!! its important to know that u have basal metabolic rate activites going on everyday.. you need about 1500/2000 calories a day for that.. but from fat/protein with vitamins/minerals! Carbs can only offer u energy to burn with exercise!! All the best!!

  • Don't be fooled hes still pretty fat. Being vegan does not equate to being healthy. Fyi.

IF YOU EAT 80% CARB 10% FAT 10% PROTEIN. LIKE HE SUGGESTS. YOU WILL GET FAT.

  • @kurruptz You won't get fat necessarily, but you'll be more likely to fight gnawing cravings. What works for everyone is different, I tried a vegan diet and had horrible digestive problems and extremely unstable energy levels, but some people try it and feel great.

  • @frodosauce If anything I would say that cravings would be minimized. Think about it. Cereal, candy, soda, they are all carbs. I know you cant have snikers or coca-cola but there are raw alternatives that have similar tastes and nutritional facts. I tried an all organic diet in the past. Sure I 'felt' healthier but you know what, driving past 3 grocery stores to go to an all organic store, paying premium prices for the organic food, didn't make me all too happy about it. So I reverted back.

  • I am a low fat raw vegan following Dr. Grahams program and I am thriving and feeling better than ever.

  • @markangeloc theres dozens of reasons your body needs and craves fat. dont limit your fat intake if you want optimum health

  • @microphonecheck1 avocados coconuts and soaked nuts and seeds are all high in healthy fats but should still be eatin very sparingly

  • @KoreanSeaBass Hmm, on a vegan or strict vegetarian diet, I would think that one would need MORE of these sort of foods with good fats than someone not on a strict vegetarian or vegan diet.

  • @microphonecheck1 cravings don't always equate to the need of what yu crave, ont the contrar, cravings means you are lacking nutrients. The cells require carbs (glucose) to function as does your brain, fat inhibits the absorption of sugar, think of a marble covered in oil, the cell receptors become damaged hence insulin resistance, hence diabetis, hence cravings, Out come sickness and falling of the raw food wagon. Eat loads of frutis and greens for mineral, equal health for life.

  • I'm a vegan :)

  • Or I've just jot.noticed and what are u wearing

  • Oh a guy for once, hi there

  • no point in being vegan!! get the best quality u can of meat, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, seeds, olives, fruits and grains.. humans would not be here if not for animal fats.. Gotta Accept it!! all the best!!

  • good info

  • Seriously, this guy looks.. ughh

  • If you want to look like *this* guy..... #LOL

  • Am vegan :)

  • low carb high fat FTW!
