The Germans do not have the gold. The gold, 18.86 tons, was in the spring of 1941 when the German advance initially brought to the island of Crete. Later transported to the British cruiser Dido the gold of the Greeks to Alexandria in Egypt.
From there it was later transferred to Pretoria and finally to London, where it held with the Bank of England for the Greeks. After the war, the gold was returned to Athens and stored in the vaults of the Bank of Greece. There it is today.
And the worst of all is the lack of historical perspective this people have, acting as superior and forgetting that Germany owes many european countries A LOT OF GOLD... when Germany pays what it ows and returns ALL THE GREEK GOLD, then we will see who is the rich country... It is like the father stole from the neighbours and now the son plays the good man going back to them and throwing some coins of their own money... We don`t forget history...
Europe is built on solidarity. Solidarity means many things, one of them is to repair the bad doings of the past and if there is a country with a huge historical debt with the others is Germany. The whole world knows that German nazis stole the gold from many countries, including Greece, Rumania, Poland, etc... not long time ago... where did all the gold go?? Switzerland?? It is time to put things where they deserve, it is too easy to blame hard working greeks for their struggle during decades.
Things are not that easy. It only shows the low cultural level of the people doing these video since they aren`t aware of many other facts. For example the fact that Greece has struggled for decades since Germany stole all the Greek gold during WWII ( and believe me, it was a lot of gold, as much as 4 times nowadays Greek`s debt) EVERYONE KNOWS, even the german politicians, that much of that gold boosted Germany´s industrial development while the greeks have been waiting for them to pay back.
How i wish i could benefit from this idea i want to share with you. Why not create a stand alone site like google, worlpress, youtube, howstuffworks, wikipedia, facebookk etc. With this small peace of advice EXPLAINITY can be a webhold name. May be you can be the next web Millionaire in the making.
I love these videos! This was great - visual, engaging and informative, just like the first video on the eurozone crisis. Great job! Keep up the good work!!!!
END GAME: They throw Sylvio and George (who are still paying and are still liable for German gas, French repair and Swiss insurance) out of the apartment and they keep the car....
Now George and Sylvio owe 200 times what they paid for the car that Angie, Nikola and Pete are driving so they ask them to redistribute the expenses which causes Angie, Nikola and Pete’s sphincter to pucker profusely...
A more accurate scenario: Angela made the car using money stolen from Greece in WWII that was never paid back. They used Nicola & Pete’s machinery & then together they sold 2/5ths of the car at five times the market value to Sylvio & George the Greek. They passed on the cost of German gas, French repair & Swiss insurance to George & Sylvio but also insisted they pay with borrowed money from the German & French run IMF @ 6 times the normal interest rate or they cant drive the “mutually” owned car
Great and informative like the previous one. Kudos. However, the blessed effort to simplify issues might result in falsifying the facts. It's not that Italy spent more than it has - it always had high levels of public debt, which is financially sensible - the government spends less on providing services and benefits to its people than it earns in taxes. The problem is interest payments on existing debts !!! Interest on loans ==> Bankers.
Haha I loved that video it was great. The name is Bond..Eurobond, so funny. They have spent too much money on beer and parties lmao. Very informative and hilarious. Keep making these!
