oh god... few days ago i went to the bondage workshop and the guy who showed us some tricks talked about you a lot :-) you're very well known in czech republic! :-)
@ozones1000 Sorry for the delay. This is actually a rough track from the Swedish band for whom I sing vocals, from a song we are writing for our second album. The band is Titans. Seach Titans It's Dark on here for our new album. :)
You don't just have to use this kind of shackle for suspensions, right? Like I could use it for tying someone to a piece of furniture...? Thanks for the great service you're doing all us BDSM fans out there. I love learning this.
2:40 I know that guy. On the left. He was in my art class. He has the letter 'R' branded on his left arm, and a tattoo right under it that says REVENGE.
Very neat but not shibari. It's much slower that a proper shibari tie, which would never involve pulling the long endd of the rope through. Let's call it what it is a TKB shackle ;-)
Great point, in this differing from traditional shibari, to which I've clarified the description and title. Been planning to explain this in the (as yet unfinished) voiceover update. Also, wasn't meaning to seem misleading by taking "shibari" at its literal, loose translation. But then, the California roll is still called sushi. :p
True but so is the majority of the so called shibari out there far from traditional shibari. Take it from someone who studied with Akechi Denki and Osada Eikichi. There is nothing wrong with adapting rope techniques but what some people call shibari is nothing but a sham. The Knotty Boys are two cool dudes, I had the pleasure of attending one of their classes at the Castle Bar in SF. I got to show them some traditional shibari ties after the class.
@BillAndrewsVA I have every admiration for them having created a very distinctive style of their own, which they do extremely well. To mis-label it shibari only detracts from that and confuses the issue, IMHO. That's all. Of course, shibaki/kinbaku will & always should be an evolving art. Check out what Kinoko is up to.
