Its funny how conservative America condemns political activism on the left, but calls the Tea Party a patriotic group. Bill Ayers was never indicted for any form of terrorism, and has never been incarcerated for endangering a member of the US government. On the other hand, the Tea Party, in my opinion, is responsible for the Gabriel Giffords shooting, as well, as supporting loose gun control laws that allow for easy access to arms.

Bill Ayers wasn't charged with any crime by the U.S. govt. And, for the media to portray him as an evil person isn't fair to him or to the many people who died in the struggle to end U.S. involvement in Vietnam. The U.S. govt had as much involvement in the deaths of innocent people during that time as any of he members of the weather underground.
