There are so many who just think you can be a good person and go to heaven and we know that this is not true. They need to read 2nd Thessalonians 1:8, in flaming vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Jesus is God's son. God the Father is sinless and Holy and our Holy Father cannot be in the presence of sin, so Jesus' death takes away our sins and makes us Holy in God's presence.
Jesus who's God's son died for us. And he rose again 3 days later alive. So having Jesus (who is God and the son) die and take our sins is the only way to allow us to be in his presence in Heaven.
This only further proves to me that America is not as religious as we think. Just because someone says they believe in God doesn't mean they really mean it. It's a shame.

You can cry, plead, claim you never knew, etc. There will be no crooked lawyers to represent you before Jesus. Only your Supreme Judge, you, and the record of your life.

How to get to heaven?
1. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
2. Be baptized with water( Immersed in water)
3.Confess your sins to Jesus
4. Ask for Forgiveness
5. Follow God's word in your lifetime and until The Lord Jesus comes back

BELIEVE in Jesus as God's Son and the world's only Savior (John 8:24, 1:12, 3:16)
REPENT of our past sins (Luke 13:3, 2 Peter 3:9)
CONFESS Jesus' Lordship (Romans 10:9-10)
BAPTIZE (immerse) into Christ for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, 22:16; Romans 6:3-5, 1 Peter 3:21)

If I want eternal life, love, light, truth, etc.,
then thanks to Jesus I can have them, and that will be heaven.
If I don't want this destiny, it's not going to be forced on me.
I can choose eternal hate, death, darkness, discord, deceit, defilement, foolishness and damnation --
that will be hell.
We aren't there yet -- today is the day we make the choice.
God loves you, so He wants you to choose Jesus.
