RPG Toolkit is garbage. I used it many years ago and even did the music for it (yeah the music sucks in it....I was young...). It was good for back in the day but RPG makers have gotten more advanced. TK3 turned to crap when Chris Matthews left (the original creator).

@RipYourEyesOutXP Yeah, but that's the main point. Though vx and xp had script for better game creating, I never understood it, and the only time I used it was to change the title screen around, why couldn't that be in the data base

? Another thing, are the sprites, when I wanted to make certain games, it never allowed me to, all because I couldn't make sprites, nor genrate the right size, nor even find some random one on the internet! And now, for xp, they MAKE you have to get a keygen to...

To make 2D RPGs don't use Game Creator. Use RPG Maker VX.

hey, i downloaded this program and im having alot of trouble finding thetile type lock, i know its in the tools, but i just cant find it, it says it shows a lock with a blue arrow, but i just dont see it, is it in the older versions or what? is there another way to make buildings solid?

Jdging by the time you made this msg, I'd say you downloaded the latest version, which has made the tile types obsolete. It's been replaced with vectors.
