Aeris is her true name Aerith is just her Kingdom Hearts name but in Final Fantasy VII it's Aeris Square Enix did the same thing to Squall in Kingdom Hearts changing his name to Leon, Sorry I'm sort os a Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts freak LOL!!!...and I'm glad you liked it ^_^

Aeris was a mistranslation of her name. Why do you think in other games, Dirge of Cerberus, KH1 & 2, FF Tactics, Crisis Core, they have her name as Aerith!? Squall changed his name to Leon because he felt disgraced to not have been able to save his home, Hollow Bastion (Radiant Garden) from the darkness. He felt he didn't deserve to keep the name Squall and changed it to Leon. If you have KH2 you should look at his profile in Jiminy's Journal.

I'm a Zack x Aeris fan too but I'm also a Cloud x Aeris fan...I mean think about it Zack and Cloud are just alike which means they have the same taste in girls. Aeris knew Zack before she ever knew Cloud and she didn't know Cloud until after Zack's death. But when her and Cloud meet theres a connection between them even Aeris tells Cloud "You remind me of him" him referring to Zack. Thanks again ^_^
