a powder foundation is a bit more heavy than a regular powder and works to cover the skin, instead of being just a makeup setter. some you can apply wet, or dry. great for summer!

i really dont want to sound stupid, but WHAT EXACTLY IS POWDER FOUNDATION?? is it like liquid foundation, but is well, powder? i really want to have smoother looking skin and all, so someone please reply!!!

@katiecat059 It's just a powder compact that most people use to set a liquid foundation. Some people who don't use a liquid foundation just use the powder and call it "powder foundation." I don't know another way to put it, but it's just pressed powder.

I bought this mac studio fix powder foundation in NC43. I have indian skin with uneven skin tone. When I apply this mac studio fix, it looks so bad on me. Around my mouth the underlying skin color shows up also under my eyes and little on my forhead. Rest of the face looks lighter because of the foundation. Should this be used with a concealer to get full coverage?

@satiffi i guess so. you should really use concealer concealer under it. because it is in powder form it doesn't really give full coverage unlike the liquid ones.. I'm thinking of buying this too by the way
