  • I'll take an M240 any day over that. Then wait........DOUBLE THAT!

  • @XxSpriggzxX 1200 per min.......thats ONE mg42....

  • @XxSpriggzxX why would u take a mag over an mg42 its completely inferior to it

  • Dear Santa...

  • Double the gun = Double the FUN!

  • mg42 - cool gun. Weapons that killed the most people in the history of wars

  • 2 of these literally make it rain lead like no other gun can.

  • Mother of guns :O

  • WOW!!!

  • the roar is worse than the bite in some cases...

  • @Spitfirefan1397 not in the case of light machine gun fire however.

  • the ideal choice for home defense

  • This is sparta !

  • and that was about $300 of ammo.....

  • dear santa...

  • is the ammo for this gun cheap??? coz it eats it very quickly

  • I just want one of them!!!!!

  • I just love how that gun shoots faster then the cameras own image capture rate

  • I can't imagine hearing that sound from the receiving end.

  • do us a favor and stop using all the good romanian 8mm surplus

  • it ain't called hitlers buzzsaw for nothin'

  • Would this be suitable for home defence? lol.

  • come on zombies...this bitch is callin you out...

  • That's the right firepower.

  • Twin MG42....when you just have to fire thousands of dollars in seconds!

  • -Dimitri! use the panzerschreck!!

-FUCK THE PANZERSCHRECK!!, I'M TAKING THAT ONE!

  • @lgliggy because you joined as one of the last countries to the WWII!

  • @BryanW1988 they did have those at normandie, but as single on tripods

  • Can I stay with you when zombies come?

  • @carcotasu08 True, the Germans does seem to have been extremely effective with their low budget and Ally count. I mean look at all Nations that was fighting against them, coming from so many directions... If the people in charge of Nazi warfare played their cards differently, the world would have looked very different by now.

  • Freaking devastating...

  • US WW2 veterans say that the gun sound was more scary than the actual gun wierd

  • @TheSupersoldier1234 Propaganda told them to think that, the direct quote from one of the films was, 'It's bark is worse than it's bite'. You know what an 8mm will do, judge for yourself when you have 1200 of them coming at you in a minute.

  • dear santa...

  • you are so bad and morbid !

  • now thats what i call hitlers buzz saw

  • i didnt know the germans employed twin mg42's.did this exist on the battlefield?

  • @dempsey981 sadly no

  • god damn i would hate see what u did to a person that broke into your house lmao

  • What a scary MF!

  • theres never been an LMG i didnt like

  • "I surrender!"

  • Ooh I spot a Lewis gun on the foreground

  • i think im def now o.o

  • I want your job.

  • Pretty awesome! Although, I think it would have made for a much cooler video if you had chosen a better camera angle. Other than that, very good video Sir!

  • OMG i think i just crapped my pants xD

  • man if the german army back in wwii put twin mg42 on every tank, vehicle and anti air guns. we would have faced alot of causalities than usual in the war.

  • SIr i beg your pardon but you have seamed to have make me jizz my pants with that awsome display of firepower

  • I'd say thats a bit overkill.

  • Germans had the most craziest stuff but hard to fix USA guns and tanks werent as good but easy to fix

  • My first two words that I said: OH GOD!

  • I need that setup for my truck!

  • when one MG42 isn't enough... WHEN IS ONE MG42 NOT ENOUGH?!

  • holy shit

  • @c2builder where didja get it?!

  • If you run in front of these babies you would be minced meat

  • HAHAHAH sick ... you need a hole truck with ammo if you want to shoot at least 5 min :D

  • i agree w/ stewy357. although im not sure if that was brought along with squads...at least in a pair like that...to heavy. one is scary enough ._.

  • what kind of gun is that is your right

  • i want it !!!! give it to me its mine HA HA ha O.O

  • cool !!!

  • who needs anti air with two mg42s ?

  • Nice video Jim!! Is that your Twin MG set up? I didnt see KiwiTed with that contraption...LOL! God Bless ya..

  • @sum12see The mount and one of the MG42's has been sold before Ted came over or he certainly would have shot them.

  • @sum12see Take a look at the russian casualties during WW2. It wasn't easy.

  • how in the hell did we win WWII.

  • @lgliggy Wasn't strategy or tactics, it was just pure numbers that the allied forces won. Not to degrade the allied generals, though many of them were terrible. Simply put the allied forces had more men than the axis had bullets.

  • @lgliggy Because We are America we adapt and over come.

  • @bgibson26 We also bomb the hell out of shit. Shit like factories. No factories = no guns.

  • @lgliggy Quantity.

  • @lgliggy

It's very simple. They ran out of bullets and gasoline.

  • @lgliggy I tell you why, indecent officers, callous leaders on our side and brave american, french, polish, canadian, british men and women on your side..

  • @lgliggy No one won the WWII, only Germany Lost, and Japan was fucked up by Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Research your history please :)

  • @lgliggy Russians made it go how it went, if allmost all axis armies wouldnt had been blown in russia and instead would had with russia as buddy been waiting on normandy youd be all dead... or in camps atm. xD

  • @lgliggy Two words my friend. Browning m1919

  • @lgliggy russians millions of them

  • @lgliggy number of soldiers on, I would say

  • @lgliggy with air suppot :D no but without russia or without american i think germany have won the ww 2

  • @lgliggy Becfause the Germans ran out of bullets.

  • Whatever is in front of him is now beyond dead

  • thats not even fair LOL

  • that was preety cool

  • If that was me...I would have gotten a woody while firing.

  • @superhornet69 if that was me i don't think i could reach the trigger

  • 1 may be enough... But you can't argue with 2!

  • German Steel!!

  • double the shit in my pants

  • Mmmm, Theres only one thing better than an MG42..... Two MG42's! Outstanding dude!

  • when one of those is not enough!!!!!

  • thats a badass killing machine....love that gun, i call mine susie and shes the hottest girl i have ever layed my hands on...peace, love and bullets

  • :O

  • 3000 rounds per minute? holy shit. seriously.

  • @1993heavenshallburn no. Around 1200 to 1500 rounds per minute but even that is more than every other "conventional" machine gun. Only a Gatling gun and an experimental Australian system have got a higher rate of fire

  • OMG ,2 mg!

  • Dear Santa...

  • Get some.. get some... Get some !!

  • Your a big guy, so I'm a little suprised at the recoil on that mount. Is that particular AA mount designed to be bolted down to a platform or deck?

  • @MrDavkoz Yes, it also has lateral support legs to use.

  • Was the gun on the left modified to spew casings to the left?

  • @Mazryonh No, both MG42 guns feed from the left and eject out the bottom.

  • @C2builder I see. I take it the guns are spaced widely enough apart that you can feed them easily and reliably.

Are the belts modified so that the maximum length isn't just 250 rounds anymore?

  • @Mazryonh Loaded belts are alot of weight for the MG42 to feed. The ammo cans mounted on the twin mount will only hold 250rds. If you wanted more you would have to have someone stand next to it and help hold the additional length belts up.

  • @C2builder fukin scary

  • @C2builder There's a few things I find odd about this AA rig. First, if you're firing at aircraft, you're going to need dependable fire on very short notice. Would a water-cooled system slow down the rate at which the barrels overheat or need replacing?

Furthermore, if one MG42 fed from the left and the other fed from the right (both ejecting down) and had a C-ration belt feeder or the like for both, you could get a balanced rig beyond 250 rounds (=12.5 seconds of firing). Could it work?

  • @Mazryonh 1. The whole MG42 would have to be redesigned for a water cooled system to work and yes it would slow the gun down alot.

    2. Yes you could do that and the setup would work very well.

  • music to my ears

  • Cal. 8 mal 57 mm

  • Thats a bloody A A gun man!

  • music... sweet music...

  • so powerful ...

  • wtf that was shooting on the normandy beeches !!!

  • wow. this is proof that call of duty isn't accurate. the MG in COD 5 shoots so slow compared to real life.

  • are you preparing to go to war? where do you find these guns?

  • The MG 81 Z had 3.000 rounds per minute

  • @EhreDemVaterland The MG81z were twin guns just like this setup, so thats only 1500rpm each. These MG42's were 1200rpm each, not much difference.

  • @C2builder Sorry for my mistake :) It's allways good to learn something new.

  • C2builder is defo bad arse indiviual.

Luv all the clips from the WW2 guns.

I'm actually dead impressed, of how many different video clips of WW2 guns being fired you have recorded.

Excellent quality and original. Excellent work!!

  • friends grandfather could only remember one thing in ww2 was hearing that and seeing his fellow trooper with his head blown off by that and himself getting shot in the leg, hasnt recovered since o.o

  • @Renegademxzx nope, now theres the mg 3, but its almost identical.

  • What's with the "Comment Pending Approval"? I'm guessing it's either: Video game fanboys, Spammers, or Youtube experts. Which one?

  • @csmybuttt Same with me.

  • @Renegademxzx Actually that's not right. There are plenty of others with a higher rate-of-fire than the MG42, like the Browning M37, micro-Uzi, Mg81, etc.

  • when you just wanna shoot something up at 2400+ RPM lol

  • Is it my ears or did the rate of fire actually slow down towards the end? If so, why does it do that? I've always been curious.

  • @MosinDragunov1891, must be your ears because I listened several times and got input from others as well....no indication of a slow-down. Maybe it's the echo from the surrounding trees?

  • @C2builder

I think I know what he means. It sounds like one of the MG's ceases firing before the other, thus making the whole sound "weaker" or "slower".

  • @MosinDragunov1891 i think it is because one gun ran out of ammo before the other, causing the rate of fire to go down by half

  • @MosinDragunov1891

coulda been that one gun ran out of ammo in the belt before the other one did causing only one to fire. Just an idea

  • @MosinDragunov1891 your ears

  • (When you absolutely Have to kill every Allied soldier in the room)

  • Did the german used this during WWII? I mean, the Twin MG42.

  • Yes they did, however the Mg42 twin mount of WW2 was different. It used a mount where the gunner sat down in a built-in seat behind the guns and were used mostly for anti-aircraft positions either on the ground or mounted on a flat bed truck.

  • Was it effective against aircrafts?

  • Very effective, especially if the aircraft was coming in on them head on and at low altitude. The high rate of fire from two MG42's was hard to dodge.

  • Ok thank you very much.

  • @SamuDXFan I was so effective in fact that the current german machine gun based on the MG42 has an anti aircraft visor mountet onto it for shooting down helicopters and low flying "Düsenstrahlflugzeuge" = jets.

  • Wow.

  • you can. in texas!

  • Now that would give you a workout. The MG42 really kicks even on a soild mount, and while I have fired the single 8mm, I have never had the chance to fire the Dual. very well done.

  • 0_0

    I'm in love...

  • where at and how much!

  • Hiltersäge!!!

  • MG42 is like epic! But I personally like the browning.

  • 50 rounds per second!!!

  • 4 words = Ohh My Freaking God! = 20 characters (including spaces)

  • You're talking about the butt stock.

It was removable to save space in tanks and bunkers. (42 wasn't used in tanks though). Also in this setup it would just get in the way.

  • its on a mount, so its not necessary. by the way, there was a gun based on the mg 42 called the mg3, which was created in 1961 and is the german army's standard mg. that would be the one being used for 100 years! same goes with the american m2, which already has had 75.

  • was the best MG

  • 2 words = HOLY SHIT!

  • Hate to have to charge that thing.

    WW2 veterans were brave SOB's!

  • @stewy357 actuaaly the men who were goin up against those guns were russians

  • @stewy357

    amen to that

  • @stewy357 its an AA gun but yeah even going up against a single mounted one is BA

  • Whats better than one MG42? 2!!!! geezes.... thats awesome.

  • Yes. Great vid!

    5/5

  • Why 1200? I fought 1500

  • The MG42 had a bolt roller locking spring added early during the war to make the bolt lock-up better within the trunion, this slowed the gun down to 1200 rpm. But, yes, the first production guns did run faster.

  • Nice.

  • um, cool! almost the same firering rate of a minigun. 1200+1200 =2400. almost! it even sounds like one...
