This is a match exactly the night before Terry Funk's retirement match in Tokyo. What a mega trio !!! One of the biggest and toughest ever in wrestling !!! Stan & Brody & Bam Bam, all of whom were in their heyday, formed a team against former NWA champs for the very first and last time on the night. Brody and Bam Bam were in one of the most intensive battles in WCCW back then, but good buddies outside the ring and Brody took Bam Bam to AJ. In NJPW, Andre & Hogan & Murdoch would be well matched.
