  • Can I plug this into my amp's fx loop to get the "real modeling tone" or it can only be connected to the front input? Another question, will the g7.1ut work to get kinda the same sounds as this thing? Thanx

  • I just got this yesterday and trying to figure it out. My question is, do I have to overwrite the existing patches and banks to save my own sounds or can I write a brand new bank with my own patches. I figured they would leave open banks in case you wanted to keep the artist presets etc etc.? Any help would be great.

  • How is this pedal for recording? I'm looking for a similar pedal that is mainly for recording direct but can also be used as just fx for my live rig. I play metal mostly but dab in anything i can get my hands on.

    Thanks

  • @tbeiber09 It's great for recording! I have recorded stuff with great success. Check out some of my songs to get a feel for it on my blog which is linked in the description.

  • aké má smiešné papučky :-DDD

  • Yo, I bought this after watching your vid. Ignore the haters. Thanks!

    "Stat makes some sence"

    LOL!

  • Another idiot showing the amp modelling while playing into a guitar amp. Amp modelling should be shown while played into line-in or monitor speakers. Who the fuck needs an amp modelling if they have an amp?

  • @HeartcoreMitRA No, thats what cabinet modeling is for. People would want amp modeling to get more sounds rather than pay for each amp itself. It's modeling the preamp gain stage in the amp. Cabinet modeling models "amp speakers"

  • @Dcarn23 Stat makes some sence, but however.. who needs an amp modelling without a cab modelling? It's needed when you have to play somewhere, where's no guitar amps, or just wanna play home with headphones. If there's an amp modelling without a cab modelling, it's supposed you have to use an actually guitar combo or cab, so you must have had a guitar amp, and real amps usually sounds much better, than the digital ones.

  • @Dcarn23 I believe what HeartcoreMitRA is getting at is that you're taking a Marshall tone and coloring it with a Crate tone, or a Fender tone and coloring it with a Crate tone, etc. To hear the modeling as it's designed for, it needs to be plugged into a stereo or a keyboard amp. That way it doesn't get colored over to sound different. I get that you want more than one amp tone, but that amp tone is getting muted by plugging straight into a combo amp.

  • @ruelsmith that's what the fx loop is for, you bypass the amps preamp so you use the preocessor as a a preamp and only use the amp's power stage.

  • @HeartcoreMitRA I think the idiot here is you coming here to insult a guy who is doing a descent review. Are you doing something to demostrate the zoom other than bitchin? And FYI you can use amp modeling with any amp if you bypass the amps effects or you may want to add a lil to that amps effect by mean of the modeling.I mean I can do whatever the fuck I want with my money, If I want t collection of amps and effects to mix that should be my problem, go troll some other place..

  • @Bjako71 About what am i doing, i've done a few equipment reviews and comparsions, and i'm not here to troll. I'm sick and tired of people, who are demonstrating any guitar processors which is main feature is speaker simulation, plugging them into an amp and recording sound on camera's mic. When the POD X3, POD HD, AXE FX was released, there was just a few good reviesw and a LOTS of idiots plugging them into an amp and recording on camera mic. Now you get it?

  • @HeartcoreMitRA I normally dont reply to comments that start neverending discussions but to answer your frustration ,still it doesnt gives you the right to insult others. If you have done reviews and can do a better one props to you.Read what the guy said just bf posting,he said there are mistakes, for people like me who wants to hear the tones of the equipment just to see the variety and if it is worth to buy it helps even the ones that are not perfect.

  • @HeartcoreMitRA And he states he wants the comments to be of the pedal. You are invading another thread to hate just bc you have done a few reviews yourself. Im sure a lot of more experienced guys could point out your videos mistakes and be just as hating as you and point them out and call you names.2 wrongs wont make 1 right. Most of us that comes here wants to hear the equipment and learn some features and I think the guy is doing a descent effort and deserve some respect.

  • Or at least an educated silence if you dont have anything to say that would contribute.GO buy the thing and do a review that could educate us about it instead of justifying your name calling. And to further answer your justification, speaker and cabinets simulation is precisely what this kind of equipment is about, for people like me who does computer audio production. If I want real tube sound I could buy any mesa or marshall that I want.Still dont get the name calling.

  • @HeartcoreMitRA it needs power to do so dumbass

  • does this have a noise gate?

  • @limbslikehatchets ya it does

  • that was kool you showed more of the gutz of the sound, but strangely enough, your voice sounds exactly like mine, kinda weird, & we both have the same processor, i wish i could show the people how it sounds live, like in the room sound, these video's don't do it justice at all, or the headphones sound, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about, how do we do that?

  • What system version is this zoom?1.08?

  • @alezeio Yeah, this is 1.08

  • @Dcarn23 hey bro...the mesa boogie you are using at 3:52 is the one that Metallica uses..?great video?

  • @nonmusicman Umm, I don't know much about Metallica's gear but I looked it up and I think they use the Mesa Boogie Mark IV. This model was the Dual Rectifier.

  • @Dcarn23 hey man, the g9.2 its bassically the same as the g7.1 right? the only thing that changes are the 2nd pedal, tube and more storage capacity right? but the tone and sound and all that stuff its the same?

  • @ApathethicJustice Ive never used the G7.1 but yeah, I think so. I think the Accelerater tube isn't on the G7 and thats what drives the preamp models so the tone will be similar but idk if it'll be exactly the same.

  • Thanks man! Really helped! :D <3 you dom

  • nice man, very good demo, im thinking about buy this pedal

can u tell me plz how many effects i can use at the same time?

effects like flanger, chorus, wah, etc

  • @RESIDENTIVAN There are two effects sets which can be used simultaneously. The first set will have your wah and stuff like that, tremolo etc. and the second set has modulation effects such as chorus and flanger and what not. Check the website for the full list in each set but you can only have one effect from each set. So if you want say chorus and flanger together then you can't do that but if you want chorus and wah together you can. It depends what you want to do.

  • Very Good Demo!
