In the civilized parts of the world swimming spots are checked for bacteria. Bacteria are everywhere. Certain levels are acceptable. Maybe people in your town have no immune system. They should get one. What about crows? They're all over the place eating road kill and cow turds. Think there's bacteria in their poop. Who picks that up? Maybe you could make a video about the threat of wild crow poop to our water supplies instead of picking on people who walk their dogs.
Flushing a plastic bag of dog poo is a good way to clog up your pipes and incur a big plumbing bill so most people just throw it in the trash and then it ends up getting in the water anyway. What about road kill? That has germs. Towns pick up road kill regularly and dispose of it properly. They could do the same with pet waste on the side of the road. Better than it ending up in the dump. Hmm, maybe the roadkill ends up in the landfill. Maybe make a video about that instead of picking dog lovers
I think the shellfish industry has been ruined in the Chesapeake Bay by this farm runoff problem. Fishing has been damaged too and it's people that eat the cows and their problems so why pick on dogs and pet owners who do the right thing and take their pets for walks. So many people just leave their dogs tied to a tree for their whole lives and the dogs get aggressive and depressed.
Also, that bag of dog poo is probably going to end up in a landfill not a sewer system.
@PatrikMacGoohan I don't think he's picking on anybody. Responsible dog owners pick up dog shit instead of leaving it in gutters or grass where children play. Dog shit contains parasites which can cause blindness in young children not to mention many other illnesses. Maybe you should think about that when you leave your dog's shit about in the gutter instead of spamming videos with 4 or 5 comments saying the same thing over & over. I'm a dog owner & I pick my dogs shit up. Over here in the Uk...
Nothin like walkin around with a warm bag of shit in your pocket. Also, there's a good chance you're going to get some dabs of fresh shit on your hands using that bag. Shopping bags sometimes have small holes and shit sometimes comes in pieces and it can be runny.
While you're thinking about dog waste, think about cow waste and pesticides. Where does that go. Read about the Chesapeake Bay and how that huge area has been damaged by cow waste and pesticide runoff from farms.
@PatrikMacGoohan It's not all that difficult; check the plastic bag first for holes, and carry a small hand trowel with you. Pick up the poop with the trowel, put it in the bag, and carry it with you. No, don't put it in your pocket. If you tie it closed, you don't smell it. It's not a big deal - I do it every day for my dogs.
