    Guess I have a ways to go before coming close to that! However, I didn't know that when doing a split, the back leg isn't as straight as the front one, so I thought I was doing it wrong Ha, turns out i was doing better than I thought! Really helpful, thanks! :]

  • We have to do over splits on a spring floor instead of a mat and then our coach sits on our shoulders. It hurts like crap...

  • DON'T stretch this way, you need to stretch longer & do more stretches, also DON'T DO OVERSPLITS if you aren't flat in a split. You can get lower by putting your arms in a push up position & lean over to touch your chest to your leg (or if you're almost completely flat, put your forearms on the floor or grab your front foot while leaning forward) also move your hands next to your back thigh & arch back as far as you can or you can try lifting your back foot & pull it toward your back.

  • How do u do a forward walk over because I can do a round off hand spring backwalk over back hand spring but not a forward walkover most annoying thing but atleast I'm the only person I know who can do at least a roundoff!

  • @creamywhippingcream My mom was my gym coach. She used to tell me to practice splits when I was watching tv at home. Try that! Anytime you do an activity where you are just sitting down, practice splits. Pretty soon you'll be eating cheerios in a middle spit.

  • Her hips aren't facing forward, they are facing the side, she might as well be on box splits, so really if she twisted her hips the right way, she would be about a foot off the ground

  • @TheMrsBiebersaccount You can still do it but it will take time. i do gymnastics and i am 12 and it took me about a year to get the splits but my sister that also does gymnastics is 9 and she got hers in a matter of months. (the younger you are [like 10 or younger] the more flexible you are but like 11 and older it is a lot harder) all you have to do is practice EVERY day (but dont expect it to happen over night haha) Hope that helped!

  • @OliviaSarah2011 when you're trying to do the splits, for sure your front leg will be more stretched than the back one. first you have to concentrate about the stretch of the groin and thighs, than you fix the back leg.
