p.s. details I really liked...the way your frame beef-up and mod matches out with the cab style, handle on that shifter, that cut front windscreen is sweet (you do owe your bud a few favors on that), those rear lights...good choice. And I will say, I have had a running tame 305 chevy in one of my cars for 20 years (about 160k+ miles)...not a hide burner but still is a sweet sounding and reliable cruiser. Also like the toughed up lights and the bonus fan for extra cooling..nice idea.
@stovebolt50 well first off thanks for the comments and to answer your question yes i draw up a rough sketch to start with but with any custom it changed about a hundred times before i was done lol
Neat build. I like the new/old concept you have put together. Did you have the fini product in your mind when starting or are you letting it evolve as you go? Hoping others might explore this concept and let the creativity flow, might lead to a snazzy new class of rods.
man this thing is awsome ive been thinking about building me one frome a newer mini truck cause its so hard to find a older truck thats at a good price. i like the fact you slide the motor and cab back thats the way i want to do it. does it still ride good when you slide all that back?
@bcrawdad1 it rides pretty good for a rat as long as the bags arent at full pressure it was a fun project if you have the skill and parts go for it!!!!
Dang, how did I miss this?! Thanks for the vids...gives me alot to think about..

I wouldn't call it a rat. Too mutch paint and shiny new bits. It's a hot rod.
