All console players. The mouse is superior to the controller so PC guys don't need aim assist but unfortunately we play on consoles with controllers and need to use aim assist.

Hi, Cod4nub, I disagree with your statement about aim assisting quickscopes

1.g-scopes they are close to quicks but not the same people will still do this hopefully!

2. When u scope in MW2 or MW it does not go directly on them there is a slight bit of aim assist but you portay it as if it is all aim assist.

3. That makes no sense the scope goes to about center of the cross-hairs, does that mean trey arch is making it so that when you scope or sight the gun doesn't go to the center of the hairs!?

2. Good point. There is some aim assist which helps people hit their shots but you're right, it's not all aim assist.

3. Yep, pretty much. So let's say you place your enemy in the middle of your crosshairs. When you pull up the sniper sight, what happens is that the center will be off-center and eventually corrects itself. This is to prevent quickscoping :(

@MonstahMaker God rid of quickscoping? Meh. I think Josh Olin's outburst was more of a personal vendetta/attack against a skill he probably can't perform well.

I do appreciate the legitimacy snipers and the "art of sniping" will now have. It will definitely feel more satisfying.

@hairybearz Maybe it's console only? PC has very little aim assist, which would be counter intuitive to make the snipers that much harder to use. I whole-heartedly agree, they made a poor judgement call on snipers.

@klintonG G-shot was a "technique" coined by zzirGrizz in CoD4 and it was to help perfect no scoping. Quickscoping has always been around I guess...
