The slow whoop sound that the voice evac makes almost reminds of what it sounds like when my cousin tries to play her violin if that was the fire alarm noise here you wouldn't have to ask me to get out I'm be out ASAP lol. As for the elevator yeah I'm surprised it wasn't recalled you would think in a building like that the elevators would be programmed to go to the first floor and stay there until they got both it and the fire alarms reset.

Yes that is to keep the fire contained if there was an actual fire the doors would keep it at bay long enough to allow extra time for the occupants to escape

This is a pretty funny slow whoop in the voice evac. It almost reminds me of the sound when the WB shield zooms in on the rings on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons.
