People got pissed off because for a little while before HARD a rumor was circulating that Daft Punk was going to be playing a surprise set at HARD. Then DJ AM decides to go on and fake everyone out, and make everyone excited like "YEAH! its DAFT PUNK!" only to reveal that it was merely a guise midway through the set. The worst part is if he hadn't removed the mask at all he would have completely fooled everyone. And, yes, he is a bitch for doing it!
All he was doing was just doing a Daft Punk set with the costume on. I mean it WAS Halloween! He was just being Daft Punk for Halloween, that's all :)
true. i got a text message and it said daft punk is playing inside. so we ran inside and i noticed the sticker on his laptop said dj am. Gay!!!! we went right back out side and got ready for Crystal Castles. ;)
I was there. DJ AM was sick. This was before HARD got trendy. Good times.
