  • @Beachman42 I know this song. "It ain't American so it's crap". Old saw. Very dull. 30-06 was introduced in response to the new German "IS" round and has almost identical ballistic characteristics. Differences of a couple hundred fps or ft/lbs depending on powder load or bullet weight don't make one a "1 stop shot" or another a weak cartridge. There's a vid here somewhere of a 350 chugging through THREE hits from a .50! And don't try telling me a 7mm Mag or '06 hits harder than a BMG.

  • hey, beachman42, if u knew anything about the 2.8 chevy v6, you'd know it's only good for a boat anchor or a target, even brand new with 0 miles.

  • I LIKE MY HAIKM, GOT SOME 28 YEARS AGO

STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I AM GONNA RISK SHOOTING THAT STEEL CORE TURK I GOT 700 RDS OF. A REAL HOT AMMO,

I MIGHT REMOVE GAS ADJUSTMENT PLUG, TO RENDER IT A SINGLE SHOT.

JUST A FINE RIFLE, LITTLE RECOIL, NO MUZZLE RISE DUE TO MUZZLE BAKE.

GOOD PRICE ON GUNBROKER SUB $500 ON AVERAGE. GREAT EXAMPLES GO A BIT HIGHER.

LOTS OF 8MM ON MARKET, WILL SOON TO DRY UP.

  • @AbitaVets gave 300 for mine with the key and about 700 rounds of surplus ammo....bunch of it is shot up now- dunno how much I got left....

  • @Beachman42 .....considering the fact that the rounds will pass right through a 318 block (check that video) There is no fault in the gun. Perhaps the operator was a bit off.... I didn't hit the crank or the cam- I hit the one cylinder and it kept running for a while......so it says alot for the engine too.

  • @Beachman42 Perfectly good ? Let me re-enlighten you ! This engine was shot- worn out- no good- destined for the junkyard........so I helped it along. As far as wether the 8mm hakim is a "real gun" as you put it..... you are welcome to stop by and visit anytime- and you can personally tell the hakim it is not a "real gun" Just speak slowly and loudly into the diffuser and see if it barks at you..... LOL

  • fucking gay

  • @METALLIMAN545 .....must be talking about yourself I guess 'cause there was no gayness around here until you opened your mouth, and started spewing it around !

  • i had a 2.8 firebird. i HATE THAT DAMN MOTOR !!! KILL IT!!!

  • god i hated my 2.8 in my s10 blazer but ive upgraded to a engine almost tree times the size

  • shouldent you be worried about that shit exploding?

  • No.

  • A waste of a good motor. Oh well, at least it wasn't a V8. Hakim's are awesome aren't they?

  • The motor was actually ruined, it has cracked cyclinder walls, and journals were shot!

  • they where shot... literally...

  • Sorry, Ment to give a thumbs up. My 83 S-10 went through 3 of these motors before it turned 150K. and yes the motors where very well cared for. oil changed at 3K, never reved hard, never driven hard. the soft iron used in these engines just make them fail early in life. after the 3rd engine I plopped in a good solid 3.4. The truck has never run better.

  • It's videos like this that make gun owners look bad by having oil and shit running all over the ground like the Exxon Valdez.

Oh well, at least it's good to see people shooting stuff with a hakim, as most people don't even know what one is, let alone that fact that the hakim makes the M1 Garand look like a sissy gun.

Maybe next time you could shoot a Ford motor instead....or maybe a Jew.

  • ......actually its coolant, not oil. If I had a ford motor, I would shoot it- I'm an equal opportunity destroyer ! As far as the Jew comment, that was uncalled for and unappreciated.

  • @farmall1938 my ass its coolant lol, theres no coolant in the crankcase thats where the oil is smartguy, and besides coolant is bright green, thats definitely disgusting looking oil

  • @croom9 ....well smart guy ! If you SEE where the bullets actually went, it's high up on the block....through the angles part of the block where they cylinders are, and the freeze plugs........which, last time I checked, contains coolant. The actual coolant was draind when the engine was pulled I would assume, because none came out when I moved it around. Yes fresh clean coolant IS bright green, however, this is a junk yard engine, and the coolant was a delightful sludgy brown. Pound salt !

  • @croom9 I've drained colant before an it sat in the pan in the garage a day or 2 and you would've thought it was used oil

  • way Awesome.. your shooting vids are so cool

  • hell yeah, I had that engine in my camaro and it deserves to be shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
