  • let some air out of the tires...

  • @98whites10

    wow thats real original.....

  • That motor sounds beastly, so glad I bought my beat headphones by dre. Rattles my eyes.

  • @killergo44 you should set in the drivers seat it is a beast for sure

  • @bruteforceit7018

    i dont doubt it

  • @killergo44

Ive heard good things about those but went with some skull candys

  • what a driver :P

  • @PeterJurasek

    just putting ona show.

  • i like both but buggies way to go for me there noyhing like that rush if u never donr it then u have no idea

  • @bruteforceit7018

    ats right

  • Crawlers are better than buggies :)

  • @alt0v14

    haha

  • @alt0v14 ehh... i'd say more or less there both equally cool, but crawling takes 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 times more skill then a buggy does, it ain't really hard to hammer the throttle like an idiot, nearly run people over, usually end up whipping yourself around and going back down the hill you were trying to get up in the first place, but crawling takes skill and a thought out plan to execute

  • @computerssuck93

Ha! yeah take that skill you use rock crawling and add speed to it! That takes way more skill

  • thats a car tredmill

  • @stormer1092

    car tredmill?

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo sitting there spinning in one place.

  • @stormer1092 i dont get it

  • @iambooked you put a car on a tredmill it just looks like its spinning the tires? Jeez nobody has an imagination .

  • just so you know youd smoke the crap outa my s10 wth that beast

  • @kibbalis

    prolly so.

  • So much power and so little brains...

  • @rao180677

    hater

  • @rao180677 I agree. The professional drivers that take the risks needed to conquer a course like this must be stupid. If they weren't stupid, they wouldn't have the balls to even attemp cable hill when it's wet.

  • @ldmcnutt

    i prefer crazy over stupid.

  • wouldn't it be better if he just went a lot slower to try to reduce wheel spin? That is why I am a fan of small not very powerful engines for off road vehicles.

  • @117nathanmyers

    not on this hill

  • they should have a "love" button. this vid and the makers ROCK!

  • @blackotto1970

    thanks for watching!

  • you dont go up anything slow in that buggy and what would be the fun in that

  • @bruteforceit7018

    exactly

  • two words: too light...

  • @Powertampa I agree. That's why full size diesel pickups usually win these events and tube-framed big cammed small blocks always get stuck.

  • @ldmcnutt

    exactly. LOL

  • I don't have a welder nor know anyone that does where could I get a chassis like this built?

  • @MrAkatank

    sosebees offroad and performance

  • i want one!!!

  • @MrAkatank

me too im about to buiild one!

  • Y would his head hit the roof

  • bet his head his banging the roof

  • @sonnyman2000

    nah plenty of headroom.

  • He probably could of turned hard right and rode the wall up haha idk there's not a clear view on the kinda dirt he's dealin with.

  • @austinpearson

you just gotta know the line to make cable.

  • desincha las tyres

  • @bielriutort

    que?

  • u make or buy that ?

  • @Monsterstopper

    someone built it

  • ok ive never been off roading before so i wouldnt know this at all but wouldnt you want to take it slow up somethin like that so that you dont lose traction? and these rigs sound like they got huge cams and alot of top end horsepower and torque. Wouldnt you want to tune it for lots of low end torque and horsepower for off road? like i said i dont know a whole lot about it. im just specualting.

  • @87heyo

All that might help a little. But this is way more fun and interesting to watch.

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo i agree completely. i was just wondering.

  • @87heyo

    Thanks for watching!

  • @87heyo these people that use these buggies go all out and full throttle. my truck couldn't handle that but thats ok because iv got a 22r and 459:1 gear ratio with 35s i just take it slow. these guys have got a lot in their custom buggies and like to crank the power out of them even if its not the safest or easiest way to get to the top it is probably the funnest.

  • @idontrunntoofast

Cable hill cannot be crawled. It is steep and usually wet. They drive this way because it it the only way to make it up some of the obstacles we have.

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo ahh well steep is fine for crawling but wet like you said is no good for crawling. thats where id end up using the winch or forget about going up it. my rig has a long way to go i haven't got a front locker yet and i think when i do i will replace the detroit in back with an arb as well so the last thing i need to do is crush it attempting something that it cant do without the aid of a winch.

  • @idontrunntoofast

yeah these hills are for buggies.

  • @87heyo when all else fails floor it and rawhide the shit out of it lol

  • @Derekwilliams9262

    mash it and hold on!

  • @87heyo If your logic was right, they'd build everything smaller, lighter and cheaper. If you can generate $200k per year in prize money, why spend $100k on your rig if you can win with a $40k rig? The answer lies in the surface. It's slick, wet rock. Spinning tires make heat. Hot, dry tires get better traction. Also, big hp gives you momentum to bounce over obstacles.

  • @87heyo You are right, but this is a form of off-roading called rock bouncing, it's all about how to get up something the fastest. Huge horsepower and a lot of tire spinning, but it's amazing to watch. And don't think I'm bashing rock bouncing, I love watching it, I prefer a nice little Toyota for crawling.

  • @87heyo The torque comes from the reduction gears they run in their diff and transfer cases... So best of both worlds really...

  • Comment removed

  • @87heyo You get "Throttle Happy" before you come up with such a bright idea!xD!

Plus what would be the point of having a beast like this when taking a slow and sticky aproach.

  • @87heyo

Its just a different type of fun :)

  • @87heyo it must be slippy

  • Air Down!

  • @ErikGMC it wont help.

  • Comment removed

  • he kinda suckd.

  • @ballsbane

    LOL

  • Now that I look at them I'm not so sure they are the same as what I was looking at. What I thought they looked similar to are the tires on another buggy. Search: Curtis climbs tierod hill or something like that. It's a RWD chain drive buggy.

  • @SuperStoploss

He is probably running wide turf tires if he is in a rail buggy.

  • What are those tires he is running? I think I've seen alot of them on buggies lately.

  • @SuperStoploss

    Just cut TSLs

  • I liked the part where he ruined his tires...

  • @FoXracing5185

they are just heating em up!

  • FGS ... why any1 don't observe it ... don't floor it cuz the wheels are speening so fast that the tyres only touch and bounce of the ground and u can't use that "spikes" or whatever they are called from the tyres and u dont get any traction .

  • @motanelustelistu

These are wet slippery hills that are very steep. No one has ever crawled up Cable hill. EVER!

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo You could , easly ... Get a more light buggy whit a motorcycle engine , u get up to stpeed and climb it up , if u choose a more torque + engine and a havier one i don't think u could done it , cuz u dont have momenton ...

  • @motanelustelistu

Even samurais on stickies have to beat on it to make it up. It is not Crawlable!

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo didn't you know? EVERYONE becomes an off-road pro when if they watch enough videos on youtube!

  • @alexrex20

    Ive noticed that! LOL

  • @alexrex20 thats the truth

  • too bad not many video cameras around when the cab truckss were popular cause i recognise 95%of these guy and they had em on the same hills same attack, line er up and nail it

  • @datoke71

Yeah they prolly got tired of ruining all the sheet metal everytime they rolled!

  • @ chris03heep & BustedKnuckleVideo... regarding the setup (ratios, wheelbase, etc.) I would imagine there just comes a point where the "normal" crawling techniques/setup just become null & void, for lack of a better term haha. Perhaps run in a higher range with more HP? I'd like to get into this one of these days, so I'm curious about the physics involved... thx!! btw love the vids guys!!!! \m/

  • @BrutalDeath426

Thaqnks for watching! Its all about momentum

  • if you were to run a bead locker and let the pressure down in your tires would you not climb easier?- No sarcasm, I really want to know- Thanks

  • @mrrodneyalong

lower air pressure leads to a lot more cut tires.

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo Okay thanks for the reply.

  • @mrrodneyalong

No problem we reply to all of our videos. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • lower gears, shorter wheel base, less horse power

  • @chris03heep

Would not make it up this hill....

  • what engine you running?nice rig man

  • @jeepfreak22

Its not an LS. Maybe a 454.

  • awesome gg

  • @maklarus

    Thanks

  • Need about 1000lbs added to it, probably what a body would weigh?

  • @inthecountry1973

Nah it just needs more mo!

  • It looks like Brak

  • @imbadwrench

    Brak?

  • im all about the double output dual cases.

  • Anyone know who built this buggy? This thing is a beast!

  • @AUTaco my mom did

  • @eurotruckholland

Wow your mom must be one manly woman

  • @BustedKnuckleVideo yeah, she got hair growing in places you wouldn't imagine ;)
