:) This made me smile! My boyfriend is Filipino and sometimes I hear him say things like this, like "open the lights" or he's "on his bed". Ha like on instead of in or off instead of out. "Just got off the shower." :P Anyways, part of me want to correct him but then again part of me finds it so cute. :) I, myself is not so good at English anyhow, just the reading and spelling am i good, so bleh, thanks for the video!

I am an american married to a beautiful filipina. My wife says these things all the time, I think it adds character and has a certain appeal that makes life with her fun. There are many times when i try to speak tagalog my wife tells me that I say things that are similar funny. So we always have something to laugh about on both sides of the languages.

I am an american filipino. I have never been to the philipines. However, if I go to the phillipines and speak tagalog with an "American Accent," what would the other filipinos think of me and my accent?

Would they think of it as being "hot?" "snobby?" "sexy" annoying? Honestly what would other filipinos in the phillipines think of me If I went there, and spoke tagalog with an american accent?
