@47sMiuMiu ooh what drinking song? I went for a random eastern European sounding melody. Which to me meant that I had to start on the mediant of the minor scale and throw in a lot of those 16th note triplets. I thought about raising the 7th to a leading tone but that turned out to be to "evil" sounding lol. Silly Harmonic minor scales :p

@mrmantacos I don;t think I have the right to submit my music to EqD, GurgleLord submits a lot(everything really) of my music already and I would be spamming them if I stepped into the fray as well. And Also EqD is becoming crowded with music posts, so much that people have hardly any time to listen to their songs before that post gets lost behind others. I say this again, there are far too many artists now for any few to be widely recognized as much as AlexS or EbB.

It seems you haven't really worked with others nowadays - I know for a fact that covers and collaborations are always interesting for a wide audience. Not that you wouldn't know that already.

To those of you bringing up Mic, I think this applies (had applied) to him as well - and his using his voice helps him a great deal as well, allowing for a lot of diversity and uniquity through words. At least that's my view.

I'm never on MLR anymore because I do not recognize half the artists. I kinda liked it better as a small, close knit community, I knew everypony. Last I tried was with Glaze and before that it was NightColt.

Silva takes the top, then you, then either Omni or Makkon. All I was saying is you just gotta get lucky sometimes. She did, and you haven't quite. But who knows? You have much more stuff, and I enjoy every single one of your songs. Not saying she did "better" or anything, just got a lucky break is all.

A large collection of MLP fan music, I am trying to make a list of every single MLP fan made song and make it easier for people to find them, and seeing as there are many songs and artists that gain very little recognition for beautiful works of art they poured their souls into, it should also make it so their songs are made public instead of being cursed to hide away in obscurity.

@pate7890 That's a noble cause but I fear it is naught. The reason so many artists are unrecognized is that there are simply so many. And it doesn't help that a lot of us only want to listen to the artists we find "tried and true". I think no matter what, at this point the famous bronies will stay famous and the rest shrouded in obscurity. The fandom is so large and diverse now that there is little room (if any) for new stars to emerge.
