You and your friends (new friends perhaps, because you are at college now?) should do Uncle John's Band, the Grateful Dead song. It seems right up your alley with the acoustic instrumentation and tight harmonies.
@200000028. I know its not Ohio but its close enough and not too far from Indy, but Whispering Bear Folk Festival is only about 45 mins from Lawrenceburg and is an awesome time. Small time festival of only 3-4000 mostly CIncinnati bands but a reasonably amount of regional acts and really good national acts. This Year was Todd Snider, Hayes Carll and Morgan O'Kane. Last year was Guy Clark with Verlan Thompson, and the year before was Peter Rowen
Yes, great ! Congratulations ! The words are from the most well known Protestant " Psalm of David " N°137 first translated into french by the french poet Clément Marot " Estans assis aux rives aquatiques". Numerous musical settings at the Renaissance.
@buckeyenut39 Thanks so much! this was actually recorded a little while ago, the bad news of which is I'm no longer living in Charlotte, so a video with Larkin is unlikely in the near future. the plus side however is that I'm living in Indianapolis, which makes a festival in Ohio somewhat feasible.
@200000028 Definitely sad news that no new vids of you and Larkin are in the near future. You and she are phenomenal together. Good luck at school, though, and I, for one, look forward to how college will affect your music. Keep jamming!

While you guys are amazing and I love Jimmy Cliff, Rivers of Babylon is actually by a group called The Melodians, who are also fantastic.
