  • Wow. Is this Miguel? After two years I thought you had just about left fragging and farming behind completely.

  • Thanks.

What is the other tool that you use to break the rock?

  • @PixelDroid Those are coral shears, but you can also get them really cheap in the manicure sections at Target or even drug stores.

  • im intrested by this coral stuff but i know nothing

  • I sure do, especially the first cut, as long as you put it into lower flow they attach in no time, higher flow and they go flying all over the tank :D

  • Did you cut the Xenia and then break the rock under the Cespitularia? I haven't seen anyone cut off cespitularia hoping for it to attach to rubble.

  • Correct, I cut the Xenia directly with scissors and placed it into rubble rock, after 6-7 days it was attached. There was one large piece very close to the base that I just broke the rock for since it was already attached.

  • But you never take scissors directly to the Cespitularia right?

  • @Gordonious2 Actually I cut the Cespitularia directly with scissors, no worries at all there since it's really hardy. The main reason people have issues with Cespitularia is that it's really touchy to low salinity, aside from that it's nearly bulletproof :)
