the buzzing stopped yesterday at 18:27pm GMT central time. Myself and about 4 other people listened to an message being transmitted in russian. It appeared to repeat something for about 2mins. probably the numbers and phonetic letters. We freaked the shit out. unfortunately we were so hyped that none of recorded it, not that we had any programmes to do so anyways. We have been searching for a recording all day but no luck yet. It was awesome!

@YoMomSaddam Makes more sense to me than being a numbers station, because surely it'd be broadcasting numbers way more frequently if that was the case. The few voice broadcasts are, I assume, tests.

@Kornd0g8 One could record the thing into an audio editor, and then scanning the waveform for a change from the Regular Buzz, the Upward Bending Buzz, and the Shorter Buzz. Of course, I would prefer to have it muted until a transmission other than "BUZZ" came up, and having 2 computers running in sequence (ie, both record, when message found, pause one, listen to message on that while other is still recording. On next transmission, pause the recording on the other machine, and repeat ad libitum.

what amazes me is that there have only been 3 voice messages transmitted on this station, and two of them have actually been recorded by people who enjoy this kind of stuff! I mean, do they have a tape recorder going 24 hours a day on this frequency? The first(?) transmission has been written down and distributed...simply amazing.
