  • Literally BITCHING

  • lol. that was almost like me in chicago. but i had like 5grand. i walked into that alley knowing i was gonna get mugged. LOL> h e he he.

  • "They said we'd spend it on drugs!"

    "We would!"

  • Why on earth did they hire this girl!? There are much better actors in this world, and prettier looking people. Nancy was much prettier than this girl. She isn't very good actress in my opinion. I would know because I am a proffesional actor in actor's equity and have benn in a bunch of proffesional plays in which I get paid. She is good at the overacting part though. They really should have gotten a better Nancy.

  • @lolaerika9 yeah agreed i find it kind of disrespectfull

  • yeah why did they get this girl

  • I HATE whoever is playing Nancy. Way to overact! Gary Oldman as Sid is good though.

  • @snowfield667 She wasn't over-acting....THAT is what Nancy Spungen was like when she was upset....i've known several girls who carry on just like that when throwing a tantrum

  • hahaha thats funny ello mom ello hahaha he did good

  • "ello Mum ello"!!!! hahaha

I luv this film. Chloe Webb is a great actress!

  • Hey Red, have you watched the American version of Shameless? If not you should check it out. She plays the runaway mom in it and she plays almost the same character in that show. She is a great actress and I don't think anyone could pull it off the way she does. Also, in the movie, notice how Courtney Love plays the same fake groupie? LOL.

  • I liked this part in the film, really showed what nancy was like. I thought the actress did well here ^.^

  • yea i've youtubed the real nancy spungen a thousand times and this chick reallyyy doesn't do a good job of capturing nancy's demeanor.. and her voice is fucking annoying - i didn't like her, at all. i think courtney love would've done a better job, hell she's practically is the modern day nancy.

  • @apagedesign

I know people who moved in the same circles as Nancy in NYC and they say that Chloe Webb nailed Nancy's insanity and physical ticks.

Hmmm, Youtubing someone vs. actually knowing someone? I'm going to trust the opinions of the later, I think.

  • Nancy Spungen reminds me of The Annoying Orange

  • "No, we don't need sheets..." LOL.

  • Gary Oldman was perfect as Sid! They really couldn't have found anyone better! Chloe Webb, on the other hand, was a bad choice for Nancy. She doesn't look ANYTHING like the real Nancy, nor sound like her. The real Nancy was prettier and less annoying. And Chloe overacts aswell which is a bad habit actors slip into. Courtney Love deserved to be Nancy. She would have totally hammered the role!

  • "If you don't send us the money RIGHT now, we're both gonna F*CKIN' DIE!!!!"

    ROFLMAO....

  • class movie,still love it

  • I actually really like Alex Cox's movies.....but he should stick to fictional movies because he is not very good at depicting movies based on real people......LIKE THIS ONE.

  • what song is playing after the phone booth scene?

  • @OnlineGuitarCraze no feelings by sex pistols

  • "we're both gonna f-ing die!"

ahaha..chloe would do nice in a horror flick..

  • "WE'RE BOTH GONNA FUCKING DIEEEEEE!"

  • the real nancy was so much more prettier.

  • I love the fact that morons bitch about Chloe being "annoying" in this part...hey dummies, she was playing Nancy Spungen, one of the most annoying slags of all time.

  • ithink courtney love would have been better as nancy instead of chloe

  • Courtney Love wanted to play this role. She was not even a real actress back then and she looked like Tina Yothers. They made the right choice. A great Chloe vs a green Courtney. Right choice hands down.

  • @RadioUgly Is she a real actress now? ahaha

  • it's scary just how amazing gary oldman is, and he looks just like sid! I wouldn't watch this movie I don't think, that chick who plays nancy seems annoying as fuck

  • Nancy was not ugly,

I hate Chloe.. dosent look like Nancy at all.

    Fuck her.

  • This chick's alright. But Courtney could've NAILED this role.

  • 0.10 Good thing they didn't make this movie now. They would have had to CGI-out the London Eye!

  • I read Courtney Love auditioned for the role of Nancy. She stated "I AM Nancy Spungen". The movie producers wanted an established actress so she was not chosen. Although I thought Chloe Web was good in this, Love would have certainly been an amazing addition . She actually is in the movie as a friend of Nancy.

  • Nancy is sure a brat but sid loved her anyway even thoe he had a drug problem

    Heidi

  • I've seen this movie many times,I think it's one of the best ever made.I love this kind of sick, dezastruous ,stormy, mental love stories. The film was quite touching specially at the end

  • I fuckin' hate Nancy.

This movie inspires me not to do drugs because I don't want to end up like Sid and Nancy.

  • ew. the actress who plays is quite :/ well, she doesnt look like nancy.

  • i like the 1 part of the movie where nancy says fuck

  • Sid and Nancy, Yoko and Lennon, Courtney And Kurt, Sharon and Ozzy. Rockers love bitches so get over it.

  • Truly bitching lol!!! nice bitching vid!!!

  • "They wont send us money because they think we'd blow it on drugs!" "We would" lol xD I love them. The actors & real life Sid & Nancy.

  • wooah nancy was way prettier than the actor playing her

  • @Dix994

I think she did a very good job. When you watch the interviews with Sid and Nancy, from which much of Webb's dialog is based, Webb really nails it. Of course, scenes like this one and "The farewell drugs" scene, there's a great deal of artistic license taken because there's no documented footage or audio of Sid and Nancy fighting or of Nancy really flipping out. The real Nancy did have an effected British accent that Webb doesn't use. But aside from that, I think she's quite accurate.

  • One of my all time favorites! I know every line to it....the Goths have Rocky Horror, I have Sid and Nancy! Btw, I agree with Radioactive 1080, the bloke playing Rotten sucks! Seriously, not even remotely close. Rotten always had wit to his negativity and snide. This guy plays him like a real wanker. Oldman and Webb though....uncanny!

  • In the last band I was in our singer had a girl like Nancy, always wanted him, kept us from doing band shit. She earned her name "Lil Nancy" Thanks to her, our band fell apart.

  • I love this scene!

  • The actress that played her is fucking hideous...

  • LMFAO hahaha jesus christ....Nancy was crazy.

  • Nancy was a fucking bitch!!!

  • lmao they wouldn't send us the money they said we'd spend it on fucking drugs!!!!!!

    we would.

Lmfao I fucking love Sid And Nancy :)

  • thast why phone boths are now made of flexy plastic an not glass

  • great video...I love Sid + Nancy.....

  • I AM SOOO MARRIED!!!!!

  • this whole movie is absolutely amazing!

chloe played an awesome nancy, although her whining got annoying. still amazing though

  • do u no were i can get the dvd? i live in england n i cant find it on youtube

  • Try ebay or amazon, or maybe try ordering it. And, I think the put scenes of Sid and Nancy on youtube, like Scence 1, scene 2 etc etc :)

  • "they wouldn't send us any money! they said we would spend it on drugs!"

    "We would!"

    the best part lmfao.

  • yeah she is! I haven't seen the movie for a few years so I could be a bit wrong but she's in the beginning I believe crying and screaming about Nancy's death.

  • Ahh fucking love that movie, I was quoting this scene with my friend today XD

    "I am SO married!"

  • i ♥ nancy

  • the phone box scene has always blown me away! it's because it's one of the only true bits of the movie and because Chloe Webb actually punched out real 1/4 inch thick british phone box glass due to her own emotions and past. the "barbie doesn't have bruises" bit those bruises were REAL from the phone box scene!

  • I don't know if there is film of the phenomenon, clubs didn't have security cams in those days. I meant that when you were at the club, as a patron, observing, you always knew where Nancy wass because it was where everyone else wasn't.

  • Anytime.

  • Does anybody know the name of the song in the beginning of this clip??? I cant get it out of my head!

  • The tune is called "Off the Boat" and is performed by Pray For Rain. You can find it on the soundtrack album.

It´s a nice and haunting tune that strikes on a emotional level.

    Good luck finding it!

  • omg thank u sooooo much!!

  • courtney love would've nailed this, lol.

i need to see this movie... damn itunes doesn't have it. >:/

  • There's a copy of the movie on googlevideo.

  • I'm doing this for a monologue in Drama class(:

  • Lol, I did too! :D

  • I love that exchange

Nancy: "They wouldn't give us the money! They said we would spend it on drugs!!

    Sid: "We would."

  • I love dis part Chloe does a great job

  • chloe did a perfect job, she was fucking flawless

  • so funny how in this film, how Sid and Nancy are portrayed, a good fictional story but it's just not the real thing.

  • I'm terribly sorry if I offend anyone, but I really do not care for whomever it is that portrayed Nancy. She doesn't look anything like her. I know Nancy was no beauty queen, but she was thinner, and had pouty lips as well as thick eyelashes. At least, that how she looks in most of the pictures I've seen her in.

  • I have to agree Chloe Webb's perfomance was great but she doesn't look a bit like Nancy! In my opinion she looks like a man! :/

  • I love this part.

Her bitching really gets to me, though.

  • And I Don't Want To Live This Life states Nancy actually got money out of her parent. The movie didnt quite follow the book, at least on nancys part.

  • Yeah, it's a cool movie but it's too fucking fictional. It focuses too much on the people's stage prescence and not enough on their actual personalities.

  • I FUCKING HATE THIS MOVIE I HATE IT I HATE IT.. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT IT WAS GARY OLDMAN THE REST WAS SHIT.AND NANCY DIDN'T EVEN SOUND LIKE THAT. LOOK AT ALL THE FOOTAGE OF HER.. AND THE GUY THAT PLAYS JOHN LYDON IS TOO FUCKING OLD LOOKING AND SOUNDS LIKE A FUCKIN RETARD..nancy was only 5 ft 1 in. not like chloe. fuck this movie in the ass.

  • You're right, but it's kind of hard to do a movie exactly like someone's life, especially if they're dead. I give them props for making it well. Gary Oldman rocks... as usual.

  • I hate the movie too. But I DO think Nancy was that annoying..if not even MORE.

  • She was even more annoying, you could actually watch the most crowded club part like the red sea when she walked through because people wanted to get away from her so badly.

  • @Creperumband i th,nk the movie is amazing....if you look at it in a different perspective...i think gary oldman played sid, chloe webb played someone else.nancy was absoluetly smart and did everything to make sid popular. she really trusted him and sid loved her too.they were great couples.nancy wasnt annoying.

  • @neonangels123

If Sid really loved Nancy why was he porking Michelle Robison within a week of her death?

You kids really need to get over the manufactured Romeo and Juliet story that Malcolm McLaren wrote for Sid and Nancy, it isn't reaality.

  • @lesterclaypool1 im not obsessed with them that is my opinion..respect. i think they loved each other atleast nancy took care of him.

  • @neonangels123

Show me, in my comment, where I said that you were obsessed?

Denial is such a telling thing lol.

  • @lesterclaypool1 Its not the movie, read the book Nancy's mom wrote, she even believes that Sid loved Nancy. Also he had a gf right after...so what? He needed someone there no one knew what he was going through and apparently his new gf wasnt enough becuz he ended up killing himself.

  • @alvarvivian

I've read Nancy's mother's book, she saw them together once and had no experience with the codependency that comes with addiction. I'll take the opinions of those who saw them together frequently over a mother's very sweet, but based on no evidence, wish that her daughter had found some happiness in the last few years of her life

  • @lesterclaypool1 Not only did she see them once but Sid also sent her letters about how much he loved Nancy. I believe he did love her and NOT AT ALL did I believe her mom had/showed any hope that her daughter had happiness in the last few years of her life. I believe her mom was just being raw and honest. And whos opinions are u taking? Many ppl that knew them both believe they were in love. IN THE END NO ONE KNOWS BUT SID & NANCY.

  • @alvarvivian

"IN THE END NO ONE KNOWS BUT SID AND NANCY"

Good job killing your own argument, idiot.

  • @lesterclaypool1 Wow dude ur really rude..do u have like issues? This is so highschool stuff. Pathetic really, Dont bother replying stupid a-hole.

  • @neonangels123 Nancy was annoying to some ppl BUT DEFINITLY NOT TO SID<3 If she was he wouldve left. He couldve gotten drugs/sex from any other girl. And I agree with u this movie is good from a perspective. PPl take the movie too seriosuly. its a movie not a BIO.

  • Fuck you chloe is the shit. Shes played it better then anyone else could. You fuckin do better then attack her performance.

  • @MissTiffee Fuk u

  • @MissTiffee this movie does suck nancy appears like a fucking bitch pussy asshole cunt

  • Felt sorry for Sid there haa x

  • I think it might be a slight fabrication of a conversation Nancy had with her mom. U should read Deborah Spungen's book 'And I Don't Want To Live This Way.' Great read...

  • did that really happen
