@marineman825 You couldnt be further from the facts, although the AGM is a little on the fragile side, The WA is just as bad, if not worse. G&P is where its at if you want something that is made to last.
@tiganhonda no because the agm is the lowest quality on the market atm. the wa is a great m4. i havent had a problem with it and my whole airsoft squad hasnt had any either. we all except for 1 guy have wa m4 gbb rifles. the other 1 guy has a we m4 and those are the second worst
@marineman825 I can assure you, as an airsoft technician that the WA is one of the softest out there. if you have one then you'll already know how soft the face of the bolt and the bolt stop itself really are. WE are a little temperamental alright, they take some setting up but with a few mods they can ge ok.
@tiganhonda in my years of airsoft i have only had 1 problem with my wa. but i upgraded to a ra tech bolt so yeah. and also is the g&p woc x series any good? and if i get a we could i use an ra tech bolt and bolt carrier in it? like the open bolt design? also any recomendations on a mp5 gbb thats legal in the us?
@marineman825 yeah the G&P is rally nice. All the internals are very well made and they last too. They are a little pricey but defo worth it. You can use ratech bolts in the WE yup, the WE bolt is decent though so i woudlnt really bother. its the bolt stop that you want more than an actual bolt carrier. Generally the WE guns are let down by build quality rather than the materials. Just stripping it down, cleaning, oiling and reassembling properly makes a huge difference. :)
@tiganhonda on ehobbyasia(dot) c_o_m it says the g&p internals are extremely complex, i know what a normal and a gbb m4 internals look like and is the g&p like the normal gbb m4? or is it different? and also could you use an ra tech bolt in a kjw m4?
Where the hell can i get an AGM M4 GBB!? everyone's sold out, everyone else requires paypal and i still haven't been able to get money into my account.
@PariahOfTheKOHLM i have a RAP4 paintball gun. im traning for the military so i want the real deal. you cant shoot airsoft or paintball at 500yds so using them is pointless.
I'm retired and not a RS snob, so I can say that I love shooting my chums with paintball/airsoft guns. Real steel has its' place, but the moment you can shoot your friends with one and not kill them I will consider dropping airsoft and paintball. Until then I will take ALL of them and have fun with ALL of them.
@PariahOfTheKOHLM Ok well thats what YOU will do. I will do what I wanna do. instead of running around with my toy ill go train and do speed drills using ballistic gel to simulate what a bullet does to the body. Thats the closest you can get to real combat and you can use real world combat distances. not just a maximum 60 yards
AGM is pretty fucking awesome. Runs out of gas pretty quick but you might be able to get better mags. I heard AGM stock mags are shit. Anyway, I'm getting mine as soon as useless bastards BOI transfer my money to my Paypal account. lol 113 euros for the gun, 2000 Marui BBs, 2 mags and a sling from Redwolf Airsoft (about the only thing they have in stock)! Really looking forward to it!

The parts cost next to nothing from places like ebaybanned, PXairsoft etc etc and you can use a cheap as chips AGM as a base. defo the cheapest option. :)
I don't think this is necesarily true. Above all, the most important thing is that the user enjoy tinkering with the gun. You have to want to take the thing apart and find out how it works and where the vulnerable parts of the mechanism are. Figure out which parts will need frequent replacement. GBB guns are a different world from AEG, so you will more or less be starting from zero anyway, unless you're familiar with how GBB pistols work. It also doesn't hurt to have experience with real AR's.
you'll be looking at upgrading the receiver pins for anti rotation links. the bolt stop too would be a good idea and polish up the bolt carrier to make it more smooth. :)
@ailifelike hello, when you ordered your AGM M4 GBB did it get through customs okay? and did you order it in two separate parcels? Also has the gun gone wrong, any leaks or anything? thankyou
@YouDiddntSeeAnything hey YDSA! well im in the UK but i just got them to put my UKARA number and a statement about the package containing an airsoft replica
i have had a few bolt failures; the agm bolt and nozzle are plastic and have a tendency to snap off but i'd recommend getting an after market set from ebairsoft in HK. im pretty happy with mine overall for the price!
The AGM, its internals are made from stronger materials, i would still reccomend some upgrades but its a better gun out of the box and its a lot cheaper.
yeah i wanna know a u.s. site that sells the AGM M4's too, too much shipping to buy from outside u.s.. plus you have the risk of the damn idiot u.s. customs that might confiscate your gun
It's not an "exact" copy. It's a Chinese clone. The dimensioning is slightly off. You can't change upper or lower receivers, or even bolts with the WA or the G&P
yes but you cant use it likewise, you cant use agm mags on a western arms gbb. . . . but western arms mags will work perfectly(better than the stock agm mag) on the agm gbb ^^
As i said, both rifles are perfectly interchangeable, if you look at the video's you will see I have both of them to compare. I can assure you AGM mags work in the WA.
Harder blowback, faster ROF, ALOT cheaper, more accurate, higher FPS, longer range, and more reliable then the WA M4.
I'm not sure about the gas leaking. I didnt hear any problems about it yet. But If it does, buy a WA mag. Did hear it is better then AGM's and it will fit.

Gas blowback rifles are not for a beginner. If you're beginner, you'll need at least one AEG, then you can consider gas blowback rifle.

911airsoftdude 2 years ago
what he said. (anti rotations are just waste of money actually) just get real-steel ar-15 pins. (i think .214 diameter)
they fit fine. with shipping (i did priority) it costs around $18 or so.
Do you really recommend polishing the bolt carrier??? With like steel wool or something?
I also have Inokatsu internals in mine haha. Steel trigger sear, hammer, safety, bolt catch ,etc etc.
and i also have a lot of real steel parts too in on my gun actually hand guard, grip, chraging handle, etc.

Now things are right: a GBB should cost less than an AEG. Just because it's more simple.

To get a GBBR working great (better than a PTW) it actually is more complicated than an AEG. AEGs are actually simpler because even though there are less parts there is less variation in those parts. A GBB is much more like a real rifle where there are plenty of different parts which all do different things yet can replace each other.
