@mirda30 That dance you are describing, I never saw being used specific to percolator. I was born in 77, and I was in middle school when this song came out, I think. The dance you are talking about has been sped up a million times recently and called the "spongebob dance" by Baltimore Club kids. At my school (and other schools whose dances I went to back then, with varying racial and economic makeups) back in the day it was slower and non-specific to a given song. Guess there were differences!
