Linkin Park really went all out on this song. The guitar is pretty well hidden, but i always did have a hunch since first hearing the song that there was a bit of guitar in it somewhere, i just could never figure it out. I got a question, since you seem to know a lot about LP. Before the album release, Linkin Park posted a pic to facebook of Rob playing piano, do you know what song that's on? I'm so curious about that ever since i saw the picture i've wanted to know which song it was.
@MERMAIDSEIRA6 Might not have been a song that made the album (I think someone asked Rob in one of the LPU chats if he played any piano on the new album and he said he didn't think any of the final recordings had him playing any), Rob's done some piano on demos before though. There's a clip on one of the pre-Minutes to Midnight LPTV episodes of him playing some piano from a song that didn't make the cut.
@Ephemeralmemorys I seem to remember somebody pointing out ages ago that it was a classical piece by Chopin or someone like that, but I can't find anything about it now.
@Metlavids Yeah, that's one thing I miss about living with my parents - my dad goes crazy with the Christmas decorations every year. I like the little tree we have at my apartment and we do have some other decorations we put up, but it's nothing compared to how my dad does it. He usually starts decorating in mid-November and doesn't finish until the week of Christmas!
