  • 2012: Where is This Movie? Nothing.

  • When it's going to be released?

  • im hoping hell do a trilogy of classic hp lovecraft stories

next up the shadow over innsmouth

and then the call of cthulu

  • If the remake of Stephen King's "It" will be R-rated.. so why not Mountains?

  • I really hope they dont fuck it up and depict it to be another lame horror movie. I really admired the book

  • del TORO will hold the line for LOVECRAFT's mystery...right on..I am there.

    Great venture and project.

  • Just hope they dont rush anything and let the project develop and take its own time. At the Mountains of Madness should be National Geographic meets alien 1 or slow, detail orienting, narrative and at the same time cosmic, scary and confusing. will be hard to put this in a 2-3 hour movie, but take your time and make something different please.

  • @WaterPocket btw much of the scary stuff in ATMOM only reveals itself, if you know your science well. Its NOT for kids...

  • did they ever make this

  • Is it just me or does James Cameron look like a little old lesbian?

  • @cizzam21 he IS an old lesbian

  • Guillermo DelToros graphics are perfect for horror? Maybe if you are homophobic! All his monsters look gay to me!

  • @wilomica I'm having an extremely hard time comprehending your sentence.

  • @DirtyFuckingStudent I think all his monsters look like they were designed by gay fashion school drop outs. Over rated!!!

  • @wilomica That still doesn't explain how asinine your metaphor. Regardless, pretty stupid.

  • It strikes me that the best way to market a H.P. Lovecraft plot is to spring it on people. A few years ago there was a World War 2 American submarine in the Atlantic movie, which suddenly spiraled out of control into a gruesome Lovecraftian HORROR.

THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT!

Lovecraft was a little known Pulp Fiction author that often began with a banal & familiar plot opening, which would go darker, then darker, then down into the blackest of madness! Frightening, to read. Perfect.

  • I heard this was cancelled, no? Too bad. If anyone could do this, it's Del Toro. If you want to read fine free short fiction in the horror category, try my blog: iwritehorror.blogspot.com

  • really wanted to see this....

in the mouth of madness was also awsome...

  • I hope it doesn't get made. They always ruin everything good arty and meaningful with the hollywood shite factor.

  • @JEKAZOL Agreed. I love Del Toro for the most part, but once one HPL adaptation is made it opens a floodgate to so much godawful stuff. Tom Cruise in Mountains of Madness is just the beginning. How about Tori Spelling in Cthulhu .. oh wait, that's already happened ...

  • @razorblade530 Well said. Tom Cruise! That is the beginning of the shit slide.

  • DelToro, Lovecraft, Tom Cruice. Find the name who don`t fit. This is like placing a Ken- doll in Nightmare before Christmas, if you get me.

  • HPL is a late author? He died in 1937, 73 years ago. Don't know it we can have a truly great HPL adaptation but in capable hands, peut-etre. The one I think will work is The Shadow out of Time. A screenwriter can have it both ways- the mundane realities and the horror behind the scenes.

  • Hmm sounds good. Now they will add a happy love story into it a destroy it. GG.

  • @TheCrayzeeMan No, Del Toro refused to put a love story in it. He said it wasn't appropriate for Lovecraft, and it's not appropriate for him.

  • @Cavstic Good. If they ever reconsider the project, hopefully they'll ditch Cruise. And if they don't, hoping he dies in the movie.

  • great director awesome producer outstanding story. But Tom Cruise? Seriously? Hopefully that Tom Cruise being in it is just a rumor cause I would love to see it, but Cruise is just a deal breaker. I would be fine with Depp or somebody good

  • Tom Cruise is going to be in it?! ... You make a movie out of a Lovecraft shortstory and you put Tom Cruise in it? I feel like you just smeared shit all over a diamond. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?! Are they unable to find an unknown and talented actor? We all know Cruise with fuck around and order for more screen time. Urgh ... this entire thing smells of failure. And I know I haven't seen it. I got all excited when I heard Toro was directing but .... with Tom Cruise acting? Way to ruin a good start.

  • Wow. Cameron!

    I'm seeing this!

  • Wow 3D needs to die right now.

  • I really hope that tom cruise gets pecked to death by the giant albino penguins. only Lovecraft could put cruise in a situation like that :D

  • @martincole438 I think we all could...

or maye Emperor Xenu could take that exact moment to visit with his old buddy, C'thulu...

  • 'shot in 3d' FUCK!

  • Wrong Del toro this would cinematic impossible to do. 1 like always try to appeal to movie folk and main stream. 2 Hollywood always screw up an original story. 3 hollywood always have to put a shitty love interest in a movie second they might make danforth a woman, not a sexiest but you see where this can go very wrong. Leave Lovecraft's work alone del toro make your own stuff

  • holy shit im happy

  • 2 people were so excited that their hand was shaking and missed the like button

  • I'm not going to waste my money on it, they'll most likely have to add some romance story and ruin the story by adding a happy ending.

  • so,was this finally cancelled?

  • please don't compare Barker with Lovecraft

  • so is this still happening?

  • If they truly wish to create a true lovecraftian film I would suggest they enlist the help of Clive Barker, and Modern Day H.P. Lovercraft. Though their writings are different they have the same horrific mind set, and therefor Barker, could make a truly terrifying film. In response to "revelinabandon"'s comment, how dare you defile H.P. Lovecrafts work with your weak-minded pursuit of vulgarities only to conform to a sickening world only focused on the putrid surface and never looking inwards.

  • @MrHengf I like Clive Barker, and I love H.P. Lovecraft. But I think Barker might be a a little too "base" for Lovecraft stuff. Though I'd love to see a great Lovecraft movie, I have my doubts on whether it can actually be done. Lovecraft was on a level that no one in Hollywood could ever touch. He's way out of their league, and he probably had more talent and intelligence than all of them combined.

  • @MrHengf

    agreed.

we need daring artists + filmmakers to interprete lovecraft successfully.

besides Barker, there's also Rob Barlowe, H.R.Giger etc. let them work together in one epic Lovecraftian series :D

  • This movie was canned in March.

With combination of Captain NotsoSuble Tel Toro, Tom 'Facetime' Cruise, and 3D it was a mercy killing.

A good Lovecraft adaptation would be like Star Trek The Motion Picture or 2001: A Space Odyssey, or in other words, slow and boring. Such a film would never be made in today's mainstream movie market. A + B = C, a good Lovecraft adaptation would never be made in today's market.

    R-E-A-D-A-B-O-OK!!

  • If Tom Cruise is in it, I will save my money and give it a miss.

  • please not in 3D!!! They will turn at the mountains of madness into Avatar like shit!!!

  • Lovecraft famous for "character-driven horror"? That's the opposite of what he's good at. In fact, his worst area in his writing is about his characters.

Lovecraft was famous for "mood-driven horror" anything. But nevertheless, I'm pissed that the movie won't be getting made, I just hope to god that del Toro pitches the idea to another studio.

  • goddammit! NOT U CAMERON!

why does it have to be in 3D????

  • dude, cameron directed aliens. he's had some disappointments, but i'm sure he'll be sucked into lovecraft's work and end up creating something truly interesting. lovecraft has a way of doing that to people.

  • @entropicdharma I somehow have the feeling that all Cameron and del Toro are gonna do, is fit this wonderful story into their own comfort zone.

  • I realy have good feelings fot this film after I heard Deltoro was the derector, but I wich that Cameron would not come close this master pice with his tree hugging avatar bullshit...

  • @lordnarbas Dude, Cameron directed Aliens and the first two Terminator film as well as Avatar and Titanic. Ok... Maybe he isn't the MOST compatible producer for a H.P Lovecraft tale, but it's better than you think.

  • @rockerr69 We can only tell when it hits theaters in 2013...

  • @lordnarbas you got something against trees ? maybe you should pull your head out of your arse and breathe

  • @CresswellTim Can't you tell the difference between trees and tree hugging hippies? Tree huggers are gay and stupid and I didn't like Cameron's Avatar or eny of his movies. If you don't like it then go fuck your self mate.

  • @lordnarbas Wow thats a strange theory . If you love nature you're homosexual and mentally deficient ? So what are you saying if i dont like your theory i can go and fuck myself ,or if i dont like your opinion on Cameron ? I find your use of language very difficult to understand,as mixed up as you perhaps "mate".

  • @CresswellTim ohh, a treehugger who's also a smartass, good for you then...

  • In a sad way, I'm actually glad that the mountain of madness movie didn't work out this time.

Since Del Toro had Cruise as the lead character, and that would have been enough for me to change my mind about seeing it. I can't stand Cruise, and won't do anything to support him or his insane religion. He will never get another dime of my money.

I also don't like Del Toro's take on Hellboy. He doesn't always get American films quite right. His Spanish films are great, though.

  • People are not up up current events. Del Toro / Cameron are off the project. Mihai/Sparks have it. Award winning cinematographer Keiko Nakahara is on board. Cast to be announced August 1. See sjlume.com/pr_mountains-madness

  • People are not up up current events. Del Toro / Cameron are off the project. Mihai/Sparks have it. Award winning cinematographer Keiko Nakahara is on board. Cast to be announced August 1. See sjlume.com/pr_mountains-madness

  • Yeah, this had better be good. It's a brilliant story, and I think only Del Toro could do it justice on film. Let's hope the studio doesn't ruin it.

  • It wasn't the Arctic, it was the Antarctic. Half a world of difference, folks!

  • Sounds like they are going to be throwing a ton of money in visuals with very little substance.

This is not how you treat an HP lovecraft masterpiece.

  • @Mournbalde Entirely wrong, go find a few interviews Guillermo has conducted.

  • 1. James cameron, no.

    2. 3D, no.

    3. Tom Cruise, no.

  • @hazza921 they are shooting it in 3D

  • tbh if it's set to be in 3d, and with Tom Cruise anywhere near it i'm kinda glad it's been shelved. Because it sounds like the usual hollywood sh*t, and i'd rather go without.

give it to the guys who made 28 days later, or someone like that! perhaps then we'll get a film to do the book justice. Those guys know atmosphere,

  • It's not that I hate 3D its just that filming it in 3D forces them to have scenes that show off the technology, which are often arbitrary and unnecessary when it comes to actual story-telling

  • Thank you Universal Pictures, for refusing to greenlight this project.

Hopefully Lovecraft has stopped turning in his grave now!

  • Universal won't make an adaption of At the Mountains of Mandess

An R-rated, period horror film with an $150 million budget.

But they'll sure as hell make a Wolfman remake

An R-rated, period horror film with an $150 million budget.

    WHAT THE F**K?!!!

  • "The author is known for character-driven horror."

If there's one thing Lovecraft is NOT known for, it's character writing. He sucks at that!

  • @hamfisto If there's anything I remember about Mountains, is his EXTREMELY-LONG-GEOLOGICAL-DESCRIPTION-AND-TRAVEL-LOG-driven horror. That induced some madness indeed

    I do like Lovecraft's work in general, but it's just hard to see how this particular book could be translated into a feature film. Especially nowadays, now that all the antarctic exploration business has kind of, well, died down. There are no waterbenders to be seen ;_;

  • @willfreedo Have you never listened to the Atlanta Radio Theater company perform it? It actually lends it self to performing live quite well.

  • @hamfisto good point

  • @hamfisto lol exactly. wrong pole referenced in the description as well. it will be interesting to see how the story is translated to film-i expect particularly eldritch camera angles :)

  • I'd mount her with madness.

  • @revelinabandon That didn't even make sense.

  • @justicegang Of course it did. If you can't understand it, that's your shortcoming.

  • @revelinabandon Hahaha Most Definitely!

  • @revelinabandon First I didn't expect to find that funny, but then it chuckled me up. Thank you. :)

  • @Geskleithron Hehe, it was an idiotic statement, but we're all entitled to some juvenile fun now and then. Glad to put a smile on your face. :)

  • @revelinabandon *hi five*

  • Well, I like to think that the reason Lovecraft's stuff doesn't often show up on the big screen is that by it's nature, the stuff he writes about can't be...what's the word...fathomed. You can't do the idea justice through imagery.

Of course, if anyone can do it, it'd be Del Toro.

  • too bad they dropped it.

  • Alright, FINALLY. A movie! God, I've been wanting one.

    FUCK, it's in 3D.

    -_-

  • Omg, I wish I had millions of dollars, I would so pay to make this. Without the 3D.

  • too bad this movied got axed!

  • @tylerjoe100 It did? Hell yes not in a bad way but hell yes now movie fan folk have the read the book ahahahahahahahahaha

  • Tom Cruise will be in it, so here is your film adaptation.

Tom Cruise is a really good occult researcher, but he's unsure of himself and reckless. His recklessness, not avoiding worm-eaten tomes that they find in the Arctic, awakens the Great Old Ones. Then, he falls in love with some big-breasted woman, gets his confidence, and manages to find the passages to seal them away. Of course, this is Lovecraft, so a Shuggoth eats him in the end or he goes mad and slits his wrists. I just saved you $12

  • @DarthVil but sadly they stopped it, they wont take the risk. thus you get things like fast 5.......

tis a sad day when lovecraft can't be put to movie magic but glittery vampire love stories can.

  • @redmoon447 Those infidels will pay in blood!

  • @DarthVil I'ä C'thulu!

  • @Brandt761 IA CTHULHU-FHTAGN!

  • @DarthVil FHTAGN!

  • @DarthVil considering its del toro, i very much doubt it. its why he's been having a hard time getting it near a greenlight (and im happy to wait if he'll keep it accurate to the source)

  • And now it's confirmed, Universal has passed on ATMOM. The project is a no go till another studio picks it up, if ever.

"Madness has gone dark. The ‘R’ did us in." Del Toro's words to Daniel Zalewski of The New Yorker.

  • @maxgonzalez777

further proof that Hollywood is terrified of original ideas. If I had my own studio, I would snatch this up!

  • @maxgonzalez777 Hell yes Lovecraft stays in its purity. Dude i already have my image of what the sos-goth look like hell i drew one up when i was 14

  • A bit of bad news everyone. No green light yet. Universal wants to go cheapo on ATMOM. Just read it at JoBlo.com

  • FUCKING 3D NO NO NO NNONOONONONONONOONONONONONOONONONO FUCK FUCK FUCK NO NO NO NO FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONOONONO FUCK UFKC UFKC NONONONONONONON FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!!! IM TIRED OF FUCKING EVERYTHING BEING IN MOTHERFUCKING DICK LICKING ASS SUCKING CORNHOLING DONKEY RAPING SHIT EATER MOTHER FUCKING 3 FUCKING D STOP IT!!!! WE DON"T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • PLEASE NO MORE JAMES CAMERON BULL SHIT!!!

And 3D is going to suck... FOCUS ON THE MOVIE... PLEASE

I hope everyone out there hopes this movie to turn out as good as the previous adaptations... (Cthulhu ain't that good but Dagon is a great horror flick)

PLEASE DONT SCREW UP THIS MOVIE

  • @AnonOf31 I could have vomited something better than Cthulhu. That was among the most horrendous "adaptations" of ANYTHING I've ever seen. I wanted to look up phone numbers for the people responsible, call them and yell at them... a lot.

  • They better hire Nox Arcana to do the soundtrack!

  • @Creaturelover18 That would make this film so mind-blowingly awesome I would go insane. (well, I am already.)

thubs up if you love Nox Arcana

  • I believe that's the Antarctic, TV reporter.

  • I don't see why everyone is having a shit-fit over James Cameron producing, has everyone forgot his good movies like Terminator and Aliens?

I didn't like Avatar either, but I think he's good enough for this movie to work along with del Toro. After all, the man made Aliens, and if he's already made a great sci-fi/horror film before, I'm sure he can do it again with Lovecraft.

  • @Maximillionaire666

because 1. those are his only great films and 2. his style is totally different from what it takes to bring an HP story to life

  • @KingBizarre He's made more than two great movies.

    1. Terminator

    2. Terminator 2

    3. Aliens

    4. Titanic

    5. True Lies

I would prefer another producer, but I think Cameron is good enough to help the movie, as long as del Toro has the most creative input.

  • @Maximillionaire666

like I said, only 2 good movies. His style does not fit the style of HP, if he is involved in the creative process,

    I guarantee this will fail.

  • @KingBizarre I respectively disagree but I understand what you're saying,

  • Ok, first: she is so hot!

Second: I have faith in this project just because Del Toro is directing. And

Third: I hope Cameron is just going to give the money needed

  • No way will they capture the feel of Lovecraft's story. I don't think I wanna watch this!

  • Oh god...this will be totally messed up by hollywood. The HP Lovecraft society does it right. And on a smaller budget. I'll pass on this upcoming crap

  • Cameron WILL, without a doubt FUCK this up. He'll probably politicize Lovecraft. 'adaptation.' Goddamn it.

  • I hate the fucking 3d gimmick, this is supposed to be a period piece set in 1930, how 's that gonna play with the goddamned 3d stuff? sepia tones and 3d...

  • @maxgonzalez777 why do you hate it so bad?

  • @Creaturelover18 it's distracting, gimmicky, a trick to sell bad movies (avatar, green hornet) and it has no place in a period piece such as ATMOM would be. I would not care for a 3d version of Casablanca or Metropolis for example. Basically I think it lowers the perceived quality of the finished article.

  • @maxgonzalez777 well yeah, it is completely pointless adding 3d to a film that wasn't shot in 3d, or doesn't make use of it. Avatar in 3d didn't work because the film didn't use the 3d to it's advantage, such as having objects go against the screen and etc. like Beowulf did, but Avatar is still great(yeah i love it dammit). But of course, there are films in which 3d is completely pointless, such as JB never say never, clash of the titans, and the last airbender.

  • Lose the 3D...I don't "see" 3D all that well because of an eye-problem. I have some hope for it because of Del Toro though...

  • Comment removed

  • 3D...shit. Thanks, Jimmy!

  • Cant wait for this flick.

  • Okay, we're getting somewhere good. Now to see good 'ol Clthulu on camera, and we are in business.

  • It's freaky how she smiles when she says "spiral into madness".

  • @LovecraftianLEGO she was about to let out an evil laugh

  • Any other hollywood director would probably screw up this movie worse than Legion. But I have confidence that Del Toro is going to make this one amazing movie.

But there better not be any romantic bull! The last time the y tried to put sex in a Lovecraft movie it sucked bigtime.

  • The moment the actors arrive at the eternal ice they are going to get attacked by evil cyber ninja penguins that were sent by their evil muslim master Azathoth, wo came from the future, so they decide to call the government who launches an atom bomb. End of film.

  • With a chance of 95% tis movie is going to suck. Hollywood cuts atmosphere, story elements, adds faggy faggots and romance to please little girls. Hollywood + Lovecraft? This is never going to work. Never! The moment the actors arrive at the eternal ice they are going to get attacked by evil cyber ninja penguins that were sent by their evil muslim master Azathoth, wo came from the future, so they decide to call the government who launches a atom bomb. End of film.

  • I've read that the studio wanted to include romantic elements in the films story line. I really doubt any film could do Lovecraft justice.

  • Can't wait for this movie, At the Mountains of Madness is HP Lovecraft's version of The Thing, one of my favourite films ever. Lovecraft is also my favourite author ever, so this movie has got to be awesome.

  • holy shit holy shit holy shit.

    That would be epic.

    Don't fuck it up!

  • If he fucks up.... let's feed him to the shoggi in the basement...

  • i dont read books for entertainment. i read books for studies. so i dont know what this story is really about. the hostess said its about a civilization of world eating people. zombies? but i dont know. and to be honest, i have YET to see a movie that can scare me the same way Evil Dead 1 scared me when i was a KID. and why is everyone saying that At The Mountains Of Madness is scary? i want to know, is it REALLY that scary? i would like to know because i dont understand whats so scary about it

  • I want to lick that chicks asshole

  • YAYYYYY DEL TORO!!!! Wait... James Cameron? Damnit...

  • I have confidence in Del Toro as a director. I don't have confidence, however, in a film based upon a story written by Lovecraft being shot in 3D. I suppose it's all up to speculation at this point, but hopefully they can put out something worthy of being connected to the Mythos.

  • For the love of all that is unholy...NOT JAMES CAMERON.

  • i fucking hope that this movie will be good, most movies about H.P lovecraft stories have been terrible

  • @berserkur19 Except Re-Animator.

  • @Maximillionaire666 except that reanimator is a very atypical HPL piece, he intended it to be "funny" sinnce he wrote it for a humor magazine (not the usual Weird Tales), watch the excellent documentary Fear of the Unknown.

  • I've readed taht toro want tom cruise for the main character and not like hollywood somebody else... I've he really takes cruise I'll lost all my respect for this movie... :(

  • @HeavyNoodle can't be serious. you've seen how tom cruise looks so naturally looney in movies like MI as well as Knight and Day. He is perfect for a lovecraftian adaptation. Don't let personal judgments get in the way. Will Smith is a crazy follower of that religion too but he's not nearly as great or 'crazy' of an actor.

  • Please don't let them anger the great cuthulhu if this movie sucks he's going to eat us all

  • Okay, I'm glad this real and not another rumor. At the same time, couldn't they have gotten someone a LITTLE less perky to tell me? Don't they know that the Old Ones leave people with blasted minds gibbering in fear? But I digress...

    Tekeli-li!!

  • @mediolagana I'm just saying I fell asleep watching it, whereas the first one kept me interested the length of the entire film. The pace slowed down way too much for the content, in my opinion. It might work for a Lovecraft story, because of the content, but the inclusion of James Cameron and his cameras makes me apprehensive, because 3d isn't necessary for every film. It worked for Avatar, but it's not going to work for everything. I don't want to see them ruin the first real Lovecraft film.

  • James camerons money and equipment with guillermo del toros screenwriting skills and already pretty lovecraftian back catalogue of movies, this movie is gonna be fucking awesome

  • Time for cameron to fuck up the next movie -.-

  • I absolutely cannot wait, if done properly this could easily be a horror classic!

  • @theSneakySasquatch Help me

  • It will happen, the script will not be like the Lovecraft story and Cameron will make it all Al Gore-like.

  • I'll believe it when it's in the theaters

  • If this does well, then I hope it spurns on what we're all really dying to see, "CALL OF CTHULHU!!"...Also, this movie better be set in the 30's.

  • @Nelsonhojax15 I hope the HPLHS film adaptation didn't pass you by!

  • I can not wait!!!!

  • This is really, really, good news. Guillermo del Tore will be great directing At the Mountains of Madness. The inspiration of Lovecraft can be seen in most of his work.

And Cameron producing, well that's even more good news. He's a great film producer. I've seen a few Lovecraft adaptations, short films mostly (and loved them all), but this will be something great I hope and think. The Stars are Right!

  • Hate to admit it, but if anyone can do it, it's Del Toro... He's one of those directors who hires gigantic teams of production artists and painfully micro-manages the art direction. That's really the only way to capture not only the scale of it, but the vistas of alien wierdness that characterize HPL's work, but are always sorely lacking in filmed adaptations.

  • I think the only way they not fuck the story with this movie is making it an animation short, not live action

  • 3D? Plz don't!

  • No not James Cameron yet, I'm still detoxing Avatar away from his previous genius works. 3D? Ugh..

  • this better be true

  • You are really an excelent spokeswoman.

  • Who is the chick? I'd jizz on her shoes.

  • I have del Toro's earlier screenplay and although there are many additions and alterations it's pretty good. If it is successful we shall see many more film adaptations of Lovecraft, for good or ill....

  • the elder things dont fly spaceships... they dont need'em, they have WINGS and TENTACLES they can FLY and WALK and SWIM....... jesus and of course lets not forget their immortality, their near invulnerability, excluding angry SHOGGOTHS that have a tendency to RIP OF THEIR STAR SHAPED HEADS............. oh and by the way, never carry salt near an ELDER THING, they might wanna to salt and eat the meaty parts of your FUCKING BODY. ELDER THINGS RULE!!! NOT EVEN CTHULU CAN STAND TO THEM

  • @gseb2 Dude settle down. i think that's exactly what he is trying to say. hollywood has a tendency to sacrifice story and dumb down characters to make them more relatable for the mainstream. But anyway "elder things" are also made up by lovecraft so don't go apeshit over it, still just a story.

  • @av949 They will fuck it up by... Including a hot, blond scientist. Including a funny sidekick. Including a sex scene. Making the unique, bizarre "Elder Things/Old Ones" look streamlined and Alien-esque. Giving it a happy ending where everyone wins, because nobody wants to watch a downer movie. Making it TO big, by having the Elder Things sweep about the planet in space ships like Independence Day.

There are LOTS of ways it can be ruined...

  • @VandalStork Gosh, I forgot about the Old Ones. Like many of Lovecraft's creations I always deemed them impossible to translate into film (even hard to imagine vividly). If I remember right they were big triangular/ conical things with a star at the top point, how on earth is that going to look good on film?! I am with you, I have no faith in this project, I only hope I am wrong.
