I give them respect for dancing and i admire the attempt,and they can only get better with practice.But they had zero musicality,all the moves were very messy,and they did not capture fosse....Bob Fosse would have not danced on the one the whole piece...he would have gave alot of space between the music and the moves....

@7thvenom "inspired by" can take many forms. it's the choreographer's interpretation and opinion. choreographer has his opinion, you have yours, i have mine. additionally, it's clearly not a finished product, but that doesn't make it any less good. there will always be something to clean up. i disagree with you about the musicality, i do believe it was there in some places. there's no need to go into a full blown argument. i respect your opinion, but all i did was state my own. the end

That was very fun to watch and I LOVE Bob Fosse. Guess the people who think it was bad or was not good choreography must be uncultured and took dance classes from the same dance teacher with the same style their whole lives. I feel sorry for those people.

This is a hard song to dance to and for these ladies to even pull off a seemingly decent Choreo that was watchable is great. Give them a few more months of practicing this over and over and i promise that the Next time they post this routine up it will be 10x better. As it's always been said, practice makes perfect.

its okay to critique ppl but, i know im still learning the technique of dance, but this is more fosse hands then fosse style. I may be wrong, but you know what I don't believe in Bashing other ppl we dont really know, we all have the right to express our opinions. and to say some ppl have no education in dance, is rude, and to say ppl could be learning wrong for so many years is rude also. Dance is a universal language, where it can be expressed in anyway possible.

not to be rude, but i go to a dance studio were all we do is fosse, and once a week we take class about dance history, and i havent seen or done any of ur fosse chro. not saying its not fosse, but u dont even do a fosse arm....but it was a great dance :)

@crazylove21kujayhawk Fosse pretty much revolutionized dance. He incorporated so many more ideas for dance that weren't even heard of. He hardly qualifies as a "joke". He was one of the best choreographers to grace the world. If he WAS a joke, then there wouldn't be a Broadway show dedicated to his work. Or a movie. Or anything else for that matter. Just because you don't like his style of dance doesn't mean you should designate him as a joke and bash his choreo. Have some respect for his work

Funny how this person is trying to critique dance but has no idea who Fosse is. HAHAHA Fosse is one of the very few legends that exist in dance history. If you know that, you would also know his choreography is dated and that's the whole look I was going for. So you really have no education about dance so I want everyone to see what silly things people say when they pretend to have knowledge. LOL

I do dance, but I don't know the history because I simply don't care about the history of westernized, European style of dances. West African and hip-hop dancing is my thing. And those two are the only dances I really study. But I do know enough about dancing to tell when someone is trying to act out the lyrics and be literal about it.

Girls should work on internalizing the movement more. Fosse should look like someone turned you inside out. Walks should be done with with hips leading shoulders follows, not just turned in from hips...know what i mean? Always love your choreo. but this group just did not do it justice. Fosse style always looks better on older dancers and is so hard to "do IT right". I learned the wrong way haha. Would love to see same movement on "your" company dancers. Great job with DeMa BTW!!!!
