  • beautiful animals... should be left alone.

  • Thumbs up if you're watching this in 2011!

  • "Bro, i dont give a fuck. ima eat my food."

  • Wow, it's movements are scarily human.

  • @eurasianchica Well we do share an over 90% genetic relation

  • Friendly giants :)

  • AHH! So cute.(:

  • OMFG Stop spreading the information that this clocking noise is used to communicate. U want really EVERYONE to know?

  • Im going to Sabinyo in two days. Cant wait!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT ITS KIMBO SLICE

  • lol family guy at the end.

  • Rwanda is doing pretty good considering there was a genicide that killed 1 tenth of there population a wile ago

  • a silverback is about 8 times stronger than the average male human

  • And if we take George Bush as an example, 8 times cleverer than a human.

  • om nom nom

  • think of how strong a chimp is which are no taller than 4 feet think of a fucking silver back alpha male i bet they have the strength of 20 men

  • The Creator is awesome! This gorilla is another magnificent creation. Seems very peaceful....wish man could be the same!

  • 80 times stronger than the average human male. seriously the only thing we have on the other monkeys are brains and bigger penises. i woulda traded the brains for the strength

  • You Human Nothig,

    you talk to HIM?....

Onhh my god you are Nothing Compare to hiM .......

  • They look so much like humans

  • only 700 left makes me so sad... We should all be ashamed that we have let this happen.

  • Why? I didn't do it... Not to mention I live thousands of miles away from any gorillas...

  • we shouldnt all be ashamed its just a small minority which have caused this but we can help them

  • dogs look so different,,,small, big,,,but humans look almost the same,,,maybe Gorilla is a human..just another kind,,like dogs

  • Was that his gas passing at 7:00--10:00?

  • i didnt no there were silverbacks in dromana victoria australia

  • is it possible to adopt a gorilla or chimp?

  • chimp yes, gorilla no

  • seriously, where? i want a pet chimp so bad, man that would be my homeboy

  • I'm not sure, but I do know they would be expensive to get and maintain, and you probably need a license to have one.

  • You are crazy. Chimps have the upper body strengh of over six men and they don't hesitate in killing for whatever reasons. Lots of people who owned chimps ended up having their faces and testicles removed. Chimps routinely go on raids against other chimps and kill all of the males and rape the females.

  • i have the upper body strength of over 7 men and i have testicles of blue steel so i'm not scared of a chimp. plus you're right, i am crazy heheheheheeeeeee!

  • i have to agree. i am an animal lover all the way, but some things we need to just leave alone. chimps that are trained seem cool, but no way i would have one for a pet.

  • jup it is possible to adopt both a gorilla or/and chimp.

BUT the cost of food WILL be tremendous ;)

  • @Ericbranson3 You can "foster" gorillas, orangutans, and chimps through various organizations that work to save the great apes & rescue orphans. Part of the reason the gentle gorillas and orangutans are endangered is that people kill the parents and steal the babies for the illegal pet trade. Wild animals don't make good pets, and it is also a miserable life for them. Please consider a virtual adoption!

  • @KristaOrangutan You try telling this to those who think it's acceptable to keep monkeys/apes as pets on youtube, it's totally self indulgent, ignorant and cruel to keep any wild animals as pets, and most of them have them for their own entertainment! Then we end up with thousands of emotionally and physically abused animals that are beyond being able to be helped back into the wild! But what do these ignoramuses say? They get killed by each other in the wild! *Slaps forehead* *sighs*

  • I was there personally on March 2009. It's really an unbelievable and emotional feeling. Please if u ever have the chance to visit them please do so u wont regret. Every money u spend are helpful for the protection of those beauties.

  • who's the idiot making the stupid noise and bothering that ape?

  • That is the guide, who is one of the best and can be seen on CNN's "Planet in Peril." The sounds he is making are similar to gorilla vocalizations, and mostly communicate that we are not a threat.

  • You are so lucky!!

  • its not luck he is eating a bunch of plants and not humans... gorillas respect humans in fact we are very similar. i would even say that gorillas are more peacful than humans.

  • Sorry I didn't mean they are lucky the gorillas didn't eat them. haha...What I meant was they are lucky to have such a cool experience. I agree with everything you said.

  • I think we had the same guide. I've got a picture of him in my video. Let me know if it's him. :-)

  • Yep - we had Francois as well ! Wasn't he awesome ?!? One of the most memorable days of our lives.

  • He was totally awesome. I tried to do a video post. Don't know what happened. Disregard the Uganda one though, it was Francois that I tried to send. Glad you had a great experience too. Both countries were great for us and the gorilla experience was the best!

  • Wow, breathtaking. Thanks for posting. The world is an amazing place. :)

  • lmao!

  • Seriously we can sepend trillions of dollars on a pointless war, but not even a few million to these habitats, greddy bastards, money never buys hapiness...

  • i know , a joke isnt it

  • It's amazing how the stereotypical brutal, ferocious gorilla is a purely human creation. They are the total opposite in reality.

  • what a magnificent creature. A thing of beauty for sure.

  • @tk100 you took my thoughs/words...they are just so magnificent......

  • we are his friends

  • where are his friends :(

  • gorillas are probrably smarter than these idiots who keep bothering them in their habitats and then taking them and putting them in zoos(prison)

  • Zoos do a lot for conservation.

Only criticize their actions after you attempt to raise the numbers of Mountain Gorillas- which'll have to wait until after you manage to prevent all damage to their habitat and poachers. Oh- use diplomacy, please, there is heavy warfare going on in many places. Your trying to save the Gorilla andconserve it in its natural habitat could land you in the same situation of many. Dead.

Like my father always said: Don't speak in ignorance.

  • why dont you try and help people who are fighting in the wars and the conflicts so gorillas dont need to be moved..

  • Its not my country's war, I would nto be welcome.

Theres so much more to gorilla conservation than you realise. Its not as simple as leaving them there- if that was the key to their survival, then the damn scientists would have done that already!

  • great advantage fingers and decent brain size

and u got third smartest creature of earth

  • "I'm sure there would have been more reaction if someone had tried to exterminate Rwanda's 300 mountain gorillas,"

LtGen Romeo Dallaire on the Rwandan massarce.

I couldn't care less about the mountain gorillas. I don't care if all the 700 mountain gorillas in the jungles die. The West was more interested in Mountain Gorillas than Rwandan children.

  • I totally agree. The West don't seem to worry about anybody if their country doesn't have oil, but it is no reason to take it out on the gorillas.

  • This sort of thinking is unfortunate.

We should try to work on all areas of life.I say there are more than enough people in the West to focus on different aspects.

Gorillas are part of our earth, as are children. If you would rather support the children, please do, and get as many supporters as you can. There are enough people to go around. Likewise, some of us will focus on the Animals,

Find a cause, and fight for it, people. There are THOUSANDS to be promoted. No preference to any!

  • they are pretty strong...one punch from them is like 10 times the strength of Mike Tysons.. RESPECT THEM!!!

  • wow, they have so many similar traits to humans... amazing..

  • wow, they have so many similar traits to humans... amazing..

  • silver back is my favourite animal.

  • king kong is my favorite animal.

  • LOL!

  • wow...i would shit myself if i got that close to one

  • lol u stupid

  • sam, loe ngapain disitu ?? wakakaka

  • i wanna see a full grown gorilla vs a full grown lion fight, i wonder which animal would win?

  • Gorilla, easy.

  • Man, male of gorilla-that silverback-is able to break off his feets.Or with one hit break his bones,im pretty shure if that gorilla would win.

  • dont need claws to win a fight

  • the lion doesn't either its way stronger

  • lol 10 thousand years ago we werent like gorillas read a book.10.000 years ago indians were moving from Asia to north-america by the ice(season of glaciers). For this colombus found indians there...2 milion years ago we were homo sapiens, gorillas were an other homo species

  • Its amazing to think that only a few thousand years ago we all looked like that...I mean about 10 thousand....evelution is a wonderful thing. Was that a baby monkey making that sound at the end?

  • no offence but you have absolutaly no knowledge of evolution, first of all we HUMANS did not evolve from gorillas were share a common ancestor. secondly gorillas are NOT monkeys they are apes like us. i suggest you do abit of research before you come onto the internet and make yourself look like a fool.

  • You rock

  • There is a difference of 48,000,000 nucleotides between us and an ape even if it were 98.4% similiar in DNA, now that number is 95. A change of 3 nucleotides is fatal to the animal. Change is not possible. Any other ancestor which you talked about would be even worse.

  • I have no idea what your talking about.

  • git hem soundguyz

  • he would of shit his pants if it got up and ran at him wud only take 1 hit from that and your dead power wise no man is a match for a gorilla

  • That guy making that sound is lucky the gorilla didn't bash his head in.

  • Wonderful Just WONDERFUL!!

  • i bet the video ended because the guy made that stupid sound and the gorilla snapped his neck

  • Amazing species

  • that Gorilla shouldve charged and smacked the shit out of that idiot making that stupid sound, it irriated me, I'm surprised the Gorilla tolerated during it's meal.

  • beautiful animal

  • And for a glimpse of the human living conditions just a 5-minutes drive from the Sabyinyo Gorilla Group...take a look at our 'Bisate' video. The continuing welfare of the Gorillas is indeed directly related to the improving conditions among the local human population.

  • what was that "Errrrrraaaaaaaaahhhh" sound at the beginning? lol..

  • save the gorillas there so majestic and beutifull

  • save the gorrillas most beautiful animal on the planet

  • sad man, the world is killing gorilla'z, by climate and materials. fucked up really, they are amazing, and the world would only be gutted once they are gone

  • God created man, sadly man sinned and must repent

  • Ha! He/she is just chilling there enjoying the leaves

  • se parece a mi tio =D

  • he is just like us

  • makes me want to go eat some veggies!

  • did he fart at the beginning?

  • yeah that is amazing how can something get so massive and big just by eatin green and leaves an branches

  • AMazing!

  • AHHH omg someone please confirm the noise at 0:06 seconds

  • wtf was that noise?! that scared me

  • haha no kidding!

  • what an amazing animal.

  • c'mon gorilla, we in (rwanda); c'mon gorilla, this is a thrilla!

    lol

  • AMAZING strong , yet so gentle. they can pull a 4 inch diameter bamboo shoot out of the ground!!!, try pulling a pencil size bamboo shoot out of the ground then you will understand.

  • they must have the strength of at least 15 human bodybuilders or football players

  • Awesome dental floss.
