@xterminatorSD Why do you keep posting this comment???? People do NOT give up due to a motor...that is ridiculous. A motor is there for when you need it and it can be shut off otherwise. I use my motor to get my gliders up where a winch will not work and then I can fly them outa sight if I wanted to. maybe YOU are just bored? A motor on a glider gives people opportunities to find therms they might miss otherwise. Longer in the air...better one gets. You just don't like motors. uhh..'okay'.
@xterminatorSD I thermalled my Radian Pro plenty this summer even though it weighs 48 oz and is electric. A lot harder to do than thermalling a BOT with or without a motor. So I guess i DO know. Your problem with motors is ridiculous. It is all ablout wing area /loading conditions and skill. I thermalled so high this summer I had to come down while I could still see my plane. I was up so long a few times I had to come down because of neck cramps! You are all wet. 'Get past' your silliness.
@xterminatorSD What rubbish you talk? I fly an electric glider, as the op posted, the motor is to get you up in the first place. Mine is only 52 inch span but I've had that almost thermalling out of sight so high I have had to 360 down again. Do you fly, or know anything about this stuff?
