We have this sick whale tail that was made by this internationally famous artist in a plaza nearby. The community is proud of it and the kids love to climb on it and take pictures. @brosephskates Hate to break it to you, but skateboarding is not "Straight up" it does have leagues and such. I'm not sure which way you mean leagues, but you have different subsections of skateboarding (Trick boarding(Vert, Street, Flatland) Longboarding (Downhill, Freeriding, Boardwalking/Dancing) Then if you mean leagues as in groups, what do you call skateboard teams?

The reason skaters aren't treated the same is mostly because almost all blaze. As one who enjoys that myself I don't see the issue there, but many disagree with that form of recreation. One people see a skater, and a smoker then are melded in their mind.

@elitisty How is it pointless? Running in the open is a thousand times better than running on a treadmill. Nothing quite like hitting a nice path, with tree's rustling in the breeze, the sun shining down on you, taking time to enjoy the scenery. And by scenery, I of course mean fit women ;)
I love running/jogging. I also have nothing against overweight people attempting to get into shape by running. Taking some responsibility for your own weight by doing something productive is good to see.
