I own this pedal and it's horrible on it's own. But does pretty well when used as a boost with my amp's drive (Randall RH200 SC G2, I also own a Randall RH150 G3 and a Peavey 5150 (obviously don't need this pedal with it :D )).

But, I think that distortion pedals are obsolete since there's a whole bunch of overdrive pedals that go sooo sweet with various amps and their drive settings.

a pedal is what you see in this video, and a processor is something that has a bunch of effects but they cost about 500 bucks. but im telling you, if you want a good distortion pedal go with the tube screamer, it is THE most used distortion pedal in the music business and its worth it. boss doesnt make very good distortion pedals so,.........
