  • a minor has nothing to do with the 5th string.. youre thinking of E probably

  • 口水多遇茶...

  • Frank you rock

  • At this point in your career, please upgrade your video/audio etc. to HD quality.

  • @bpdcaptain7

At this point you are close to being blocked and deleted. This was filmed 3 years ago. My new DVD release of a original song of mine is fimed in HD if you care to pay attention. FF

  • @Jetsongchannel

"at this point in YOUR career, you are close to being blocked and deleted.

  • Why would you mirror the video on a tutorial?

  • This is not Frank? This is bruce springsteen!!

  • youplay a g the weirdest way ive ever seen, surely it awkward

  • Thanks Frank another great lesson.

  • ur awesome!

  • cheers frank brilliant hope you are enjoying the cricket at the moment mate

  • Nice work man. I wanted to learn this to play it with some friends. Really helped to clarify what the chords really are, as opposed to all the unreliable sources on the net.

    Cheers from a fellow Melbournian.

  • argh your left handed...your makind me think backwards ..hehe..nice video !

  • dude ur the man. thanks for all the help...ive always loved the song and finally i can play and sing it perfect. thanks again from ur fan in miami

  • i just can't get that g/c chord grrrr

  • too complicated for me now.......

  • damb do you have to yell

  • werent you right handed??? lllll

  • I'm having trouble with the hammon in the intro, for some reason i don't know what i'm hammering on to lol, could you or someone elaborate?

  • Maybe you already figured this out, but I was confused too and just in case anyone else is - I think you hammer on the whole chord. So, you play the G chord on that first down and up strum, but then you leave all the strings open on the second down strum, then hammer on the G chord.

  • u could put on a jumper :P

    love ur vids

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE ...

  • I like this lesson very much. LIke the way you play it.

I noticed that you change hands from lesson to lesson. How comes?

  • If you read Franks info fully you will see that he is not playing both left and right handed. He had some dramas with some video editing software and it mirrored some of his earlier videos.

I am just starting and find all of his videos very good!

    Enjoy!

  • @RhinoRacing25,

thanks for the comment :-) Hare you just starting to learn guitar or just starting using youtube to learn some peaces?

    Enjoy to!

  • Always loved the song. Great version and easy to follow.

  • thanks you so much men

  • Nice job,

    Look also my versie watch?v=6WH_2CPWyuw

    Greetz from Holland

  • Hello thats an awsome song thumbs up... umm can you show me the chords for shannon by Hennry Gross i cant find it and you just might be able to help me. Thanks

  • Your video is great!

I am interested in a lesson like this for "morning has broken" from Cat Stevens. Have you seen any?.

  • Yes i have, not a Youtube lesson. Just search it here. Go to this site. Ultimate guitar as we cant put links here. They have this song, i checked. Secondly, listen to original here, preferably with the Cat playing and visible guitar playing. Next, compare tabs to look for errors. Strumming is not provided in many tabs, just get your feel. This part of the guitar is very individual. Cheers FF

  • whats the name of this guitar? (nice lesson) :)

  • i believe its a taylor 300series

    314ce perhaps?

  • Thank you so much!

  • Hey, thanks for the tutorial. I can't seem to get much sound out of the hammer-on part. Do i need to press harder? or do it sooner after the last down-strum? Im confused.

  • Thank you so very much Melbourne GURU!! I was nearly gonna give up guitar but I love your lesson here & I am learning fast!! Thanks & respect. You de maan!!

  • lefty ha

  • perfect... just what i was looking for... exactly the same notes thanks!!!!

  • you rock!

  • Hands down the best lesson I've seen for this great song. Thanks!!

  • Nice, "pussy beard".. hehe.

  • you are a crashed

  • what a hammer on? (or whatever lol)

i got the down up down part but then i don't get the hammer on. i know i suck lol

  • Hammer-on is a guitar playing technique performed by sharply bringing a fretting-hand finger down on the fingerboard behind a fret, causing a note to sound. This technique is the opposite of the pull-off. ...We use two fingers at one time in this song. We hammer with the Aminor7 finger formation. Please keep practising and watch my performance video.

    FF

  • Oh no! My finger slipped while I was trying to give this a 5 star rating and it ended up as a 2 star. This is not true! It's a fantastic lesson - the best!!!

  • I've done that twice already! Youtube should have a way to change your rating.

  • another great lesson frank

    thank you

  • Fantastic! Thanks you really helped me play this and encouraged me to try some of your other lessons. Love your cover version of this too - Great voice

  • Great work. Thank you for sharing your talent and experience. Gives encouragement to people like me that love and struggle with the guitar.

  • ur the greatest man!

    love ur wonderwall vid!

  • hi im a beginner beginner...im having trouble with the intro what do you do after the 3 strokes of the G chord?? and how do you do it...

Thanks, great work I love Cat

  • Hi

I,ve learnt wild world and father and son, thanks to you, great teacher. I'd appreciate it if you could do a peace train tutorial, the newer version with a classic ending, i'm really struggling with it,

    thanks

  • another great lesson well done

  • You rock! Nice of you to take the time to do this!

  • You are terrific! I love it!

  • you are the best =)=) even your part 2 was very nice!!!! but i cant understand the intro =)

    BUT U ARE REALLY GOOD!!!!

  • great friend !!!! you are excelent

  • I rated 5 stars

  • Hey. Thanks for lesson. I was learning different version. WOW your good. I was wondering if by any chance you could possibly share with me the sheet music of your version if you have it. Thanks for your time. Keep up amazing work.

  • I don't know too much about computers. I do view alot of other teachers on You Tube though, & they are not backwards. Hopefully you can find out because I like your style. Thanks for posting & hope to see more. Do you know any John Denver?

  • NOTE TO ALL....there was a mirror flip button activated in my video camera software. This has know been de-activated, so we will bring normal right hand guitar viewing pleasure for the new videos. Stay tuned.

    :-)

    FF

  • You have a great voice! But since you're left-handed, this is confusing.

  • Correction: I am right handed, but when recorded comes out in a mirror image. Do i need software to correct this? I am a newbee....sorry!

  • Naw, we can figure it out.

It's fine the way it is.
