how did you seem to get so much? i have a 740ti myself that im building planning on more boost.. already taken and opened up the breathing and exaust sides. looking at a boost controller and such

you could hit 300 with larger waste gates and bigger fuel injectors.

I can se it´ an redblock engine, that means maybe he have an Mitsubishi 18 T turbo TD-04HL, 4 cylinders , 2,3 liters std cyl volume, mabe a better intercooler ofcourse he must have, the gearbox can be a manual M40, the cluth must be stronger one, so it´s mabey an SACHS, the boost should be if injektors and fuelregulator is installed between 1.1-1,7 bar with the right mappings, anyone needs a Chip change, both engine and ingnition Same as Autotech is providing in Sweden, the "best ;-) write!

I had a 1990 B230FT engine running 345HP on dyno. Sadly, I am uncertain as to all that went into the engine, other than the price: > $8k.

I bought the car after the work was done. 13 MPG 1982 240DL fixed up a bit... The original 1982 manual gear box allowed me to take on ANYONE until about 80mph, where they would overtake me :-(

No idea how the car managed to hold together under the stress!!

b230t engines good for 300 bhp without to much internal work .. thats what makes them superior to jap cars fcuking weak as piss engines ie the 200 sx quick car good fun but bottom end made from chocolate

It will take WAY more than tuning to hit 300whp in that car...but good show nonetheless!

How do you figure? It's a 2.3 liter with a big turbo/intercooler and running MegaSquirt. More has been made with less.

Well, 80hp is a LOT to make up for with just tuning. If you're on the stock bottom end you're good for ~24psi (for a short while) before grenading. I imagine you were in the 15-18psi range on that run? What are you running for an exhaust?

He installed a manual transmission in it. I can't recall if it is a T5 or a Getrag though. I think it's a T5.
