Yep. Rahal had to race in Homestead Miami (opening race of IRL season) but he crashed his car and his crew didn't repaired it in time, so his debut was delayed to St. Pete (2nd race).
I watched this race in St Petersburg in Russia. I couldnt understand anything the commentators were saying, i was really surprised to see Graham take the victory
Idiot, street races are more difficult than circuit races, there is far less grip on streetcircuits than on race tracks. And when it's a wet race, it's basically slip and slide most of the time.
Indy car also runs road courses...with Cart combining with indy car they race alot more street circuits... Plus indy cars are faster in a average of 230 MPH.
It is true that formula1 is faster but they never reach that speed of 260 MPH
F-1's cars can reach to 350 KM/H count. :) But they never reach 350 KM/H, about 5 years ago they had super long with the super long straights track Hockenheim, but then they remade it and now Hockenheim is just another F1 Track.
Well if you prefer second tier drivers in second tier cars, then I guess you would prefer IRL... Oh and lets not forget the oval tracks, about half of the season they don't even turn the wheel in both directions and the passes appear to be in slow motion. I struggle to see how any of this would make IRL better than F1, you probably just watch a lot of Nascar and don't know any better.
I'm watching F-1 since I was 5 so that's about 15 years, I've watched Nascar one season that was 2007 (didn't like it at all), and I'm watching IRL since 2007.
If my ridiculous dream of owning an F1 team comes to life, I'm giving Rahal and Marco Andretti a call.
