@mrperu007 well these techniques are very possible With a shirt or jacket.. and even if they are shirtless... the techniques corrolate directly to no gi anyways... If there is no sleeve to grab so grab the wrist... if you cant grab the lapel, grab behind the head or behind the tricep.. take it from someone who has done both gi and nogi for the past 6 years.. you want to develop good technique GO WITH THE GI.. and when u feel comfortable u can start using nogi grips...

BJJ is a self defence if your in a street fight you can grab the guys shirt and preform this armbar.

Great video, I've been working on this all week I've almost got it . The biggest challenge for me was rotating to get the leg up under the armpit
(being a fatty doesn't help....but at the rate that Gracie Barra Columbus is working me that won't be the case for long)
sometimes I'll post my foot on the ground and raise my hips and i can get it really quick like that.
